- How to Fix srttrail.txt windows 10 error C:/Windows/System32/LogFiles/srt/SrtTrail.txt. I had upgraded from windows 7 ultimate to windows 10. After 4 weeks I got stucked in bootloop. I tried second method from above video. But while selecting the operating system I accidentally selected windows 7 . But I'm stuck and I can't work on windows 7.

Okay so I did the command prompt and typed your first command and I just wanted to say it’s taking a long time. Rn it’s on step 5 scanning through 350+ million files I guess. Idk why that number is so large

can i point out that srttrial.txt is no an error, its found in the c drive and tells you what the error is, its txt which is a recorded written file not a file that can cause any harm to a computer apart from to give you information which in that text will tell you what error you have

At the step ren c:\boot\bcd bcd.old
it says "a duplicate file name exists or the file cannot be found"

for everyone who is saying they cant find boot path or boot path not found, make sure you are choosing the correct drive from the start ex "E:" instead of "C" you can find this by doing /notepad then going to file, open, and scroll down
