- Join me on a bittersweet departure from The Gambia after a memorable five-day stay. Despite the challenges of using local wifi and some rough roads, the kindness of the people made the experience unforgettable.
Next, I journeyed to one of the world's least visited countries, Guinea Bissau. Crossing two borders with excitement and nerves, I navigate through police checks, bribes, and potholes.
With my Nigerian and UK passports, I finally reached Guinea Bissau, ready to explore this unique destination.
Tune in for an adventure filled with cultural insights and road trip hurdles!

Weldone pelumi.....am a lorry driver in the UK, it takes alot of mental endurance to drive such a long distance
thank you so much or acknowledging a part of the journey people don't see! I am so grateful.
The reason why is easy boarder crossing is that senegal and Gambia share the same tribes. Just different colonizers languages: English &French. People criss-cross daily. Only vehicles are check. Pedestrian are not.
ahh good to know the crossing was so easy!
Pelumi Nubi, the great international driver, more grace

I strongly believe West Africa has the worst roads in Africa.
Thank you, ma'am.
Phewwww the roads are really no-good! Improvement is desperately needed in some region
You just may be right. I watched a lady ride a motorbike through Nigeria and Cameroon and the roads are shockingly bad. The governments are so useless 😑😑
The white stuff is the cotton plant . You’re correct
oooo good to know!
