  • Communities in the south metro are grieving after the sudden loss of a beloved firefighter. Joseph Johns was a firefighter in the Eagan and Eden Prairie communities for the past several years. He was killed in an overnight shooting in Minneapolis. WCCO's Kirsten Mitchell shows us how first responders and friends are remembering him.

My mother just called to tell me about this shooting because I went to high school with Joseph in Warren, Ohio. Not surprising that he turned to a profession of service, but very disheartening to know this is how he met his end. I remember your smile Joseph and I pray that God is with your mother as I know how close you were. RIP 🙏🏽

    Is really a shame.
My condolence go out to everyone that was able to know this man.
He touched a lot of hearts to the men and women that knew him in the biker group also his and his family members he left behind.
And how people speculate just because he was in a biker group it's a shame how people judge someone.
because he was in a biker group all biker group our not bad people will be missed from his family members also.

As a Republican and proud NRA member, I say YES!
Of course the answer is that everyone should be constantly armed and ready to blast.
