Just love this game and our group plays it all the time. You know you’re neck deep in this hobby when you can’t fit another ounce of game box on your allocated game shelf. Time to trade up for this one. Only criticism I have is that the third lap can drag the game out a bit if any newbs w/AP are also playing it.
I don't know, having played Heat, why I would play this over that? It feels like the better value proposition (4 tracks, support for a season) and potentially the better game with the added complexity, if you want, within the car upgrades. Credit GMT to trying something new at least.
@@derekrledr5955 My rule book says, under Gaining a Fan Token, “Any move that matches six or more symbols(including those on the crowd card) awes the spectators and earns the player a new fan token.” We’ve always played it this way. Cheers.
A little too abstracted for my liking. I prefer something more realistic and physics based but still simple and playable like Formula D. The euro game tendency to avoid violence/aggression at all costs in something like roman chariot racing is a really limiting factor in Charioteers.
i really like that gmt is exploring more accessible game designs.
Fun time playing it with you as well!
Just picked it up and it’s a great game ✌️☮️

Agreed!

It is a different game altogether. If you have space for 2 racing games, get both! They are superb.
Six symbols allows you to draw, only if you used the crowd card too. FYI.
Sorry... but the Rules don't say that. Symbols on the crowd card can be included in the count... but they are not required.

great game, but the cylinders tokens always get knocked over.
