What the beautiful 😍 memories i had in 1986.i was 10 years old but i will never forget the 1986 Mexico 🌎 cup.the final was Germany and Argentina 1 0 for Argentina and Maradona was unforgettable player.god bless his soul.i am 48 now,the time gone very quick.

Está Checoslovaquia era de tremendo respeto, lo que prácticamente eliminó a los checos del mundial fue haber empatado con 🇲🇹 ( el más flojo)
Pero Checoslovaquia no fue eliminada por Dinamarca que salió en primera con 12 puntos y después la ex Unión Soviética que salió en segunda con 10 puntos en aquel tiempo la victoria valía 2 puntos y Checoslovaquia terminó en tercero?

Of the featured teams I only remember West Germany at the WC 86...I think the Czechs were still struggling after the golden generation of late 70s/early 80s.
They turned it around were decent in Italia 90 with the likes of skuhravy.
Portugal also qualified for Mexico 86. They were in England’s group and actually beat England 1-0 but failed to get out of the group stage. England and Poland qualified.

Like you, I didn’t get to see all the games live because of the time slots but remember my dad going nuts when England lost to Portugal! Really loved that summer. The superb France v Brazil game a particularly strong memory. Great World Cup.
Didn't Portugal end up beating West Germany in their last match to qualify from this group ? I know they got KO'd from WC 86 after losing to Morocco.
