Well, i wish I've seen this video before cutting my side bangs. I followed another youtuber's tut (bigger triangle than the one you demonstrated) and it turned out really bad.

I've been trying to grow my blunt bangs out for 5 YEARS, and not only do *I* mess them up, but the stylists I see mess them up, too (they always end up looking like just a crooked blunt bang, or SUPER bulky to the side). This video seriously just saved my hair. I'm so happy I could cry. 😭

I've always cut my own hair but as I get older, I am less confident. who knows why.... but your video has given me those staple basics that all bangs should be built upon, and I feel my confidence soaring! I've had side swept bangs on and off since 2012 and I grew them out in 2016 because they were messed up by a hairstylist I went to after my regular hairstylist got a new job. Recently decided to try my luck at cutting them myself because I missed them and they turned out really nicely! I'll definitely be getting them trimmed by a professional next time but thank you for helping me not butcher my hair. 🤣

So I wanted to cut my bangs on my own. So I tried some other tutorials from YT of cutting the bangs and ended up with nasty blocky edges. The hair of the girls in the videos looked perfectly fine while mine looked just ridiculous. Luckily I did not cut so much...
Then I found this tutorial and was able to save everything. The blocky edges are gone now and it looks way more fluffy.
