  • More than 20 years have passed since I have searched these wild Italian landscapes alone. Years that I have talked their culture, lived their ways, and found myself that piece of me within it…. but you cannot share this beauty alone…. so after months in the making this happened!
Initially I picked up these guys from the airport close to Rome and i took them to a rugged part of Italy in the Abruzzo region, an area that very few foreign photographers know exist.
These lads are really great landscape photographers and best mates, so taking them around my local area meant a lot to me.
    Hope you enjoy episode 1

A "Pentaxiano" is not only in the field but also in front of a cup of italian wine. I know those place, as a geologist who divides himself between nature and photography. Thanks Matt for this!

Great video Matt, interesting to see you making the most of the weather and talking about the images you’re getting and the settings used. Also interesting to see you using your DFA 70-200 in your Pentax K3iii. I’ve started using my DFA 70-210 on my K3iii and pleased with the results I’m getting.

Thanks for that mate. I actually used this setup quite a lot in the trip and am just amazed by the results. You see plenty more of this combo in the rest of the trip! I reckon next time we start this up mate we can talk you into coming!
