Droving Abruzzo - Landscape Photography Wild Italy - Episode 1

- More than 20 years have passed since I have searched these wild Italian landscapes alone. Years that I have talked their culture, lived their ways, and found myself that piece of me within it…. but you cannot share this beauty alone…. so after months in the making this happened!
Initially I picked up these guys from the airport close to Rome and i took them to a rugged part of Italy in the Abruzzo region, an area that very few foreign photographers know exist.
These lads are really great landscape photographers and best mates, so taking them around my local area meant a lot to me.
Hope you enjoy episode 1

Yeah!!! Right decision to get back to the castle, such beautiful conditions... I've been hangin around that place for sometime, never got such nice images! The photos in Campo Imperatore really stand! Rock on man!
It was the right choice for sure, but yes….there are a few from emperors field that are just epic
Fantastic what a great place and stunning pics, loved it.
Thanks a lot buddy. Really appreciate it
A "Pentaxiano" is not only in the field but also in front of a cup of italian wine. I know those place, as a geologist who divides himself between nature and photography. Thanks Matt for this!

Yeh, was a good move. Mate, thing about the field was we all thought we were taking the same compo, and it ended up being we all saw something different
What a great way to end my Sunday evening watching your latest new video Matt, so enjoyable and epic and your images were stunning, oh the food looked good too. Looking forward for the next one, your so underated mate, have a great week 👍 😀
Means a lot that you took the time out of your precious evening to watch it, and very flattered that you enjoyed it.
Great video Matt, interesting to see you making the most of the weather and talking about the images you’re getting and the settings used. Also interesting to see you using your DFA 70-200 in your Pentax K3iii. I’ve started using my DFA 70-210 on my K3iii and pleased with the results I’m getting.
Thanks for that mate. I actually used this setup quite a lot in the trip and am just amazed by the results. You see plenty more of this combo in the rest of the trip! I reckon next time we start this up mate we can talk you into coming!
