No shit, I grew up in a bedroom that only fit a twin bed, dresser and a student's desk.
Lol, my bedroom is a little bit larger than that but I feel claustrophobic
mine too lol, maybe it's the bed size that made it looks small, my bed is half this bed though lol

so imagine this size room, 1/4 of that closet... and sharing with between yourself, significant other and a baby w their crib... we're so cramped I wanna cry.. the stress, and anxiety it makes me have is insane
We did this also. That baby will grow out of the crib quickly, it won't be that long! Probably by the time you read this your situation will have changed🙂😉💜
The room looked really nice after the transformation. But I couldn't help but notice that there was a study table before. Isn't study table an essential?

Of course, the room is beautiful and looks less cluttered. But let's hope it's not less functional, now an essential piece of furniture is missing. (I've seen this "style" of refurnishing in other videos and was already wondering...)

May I lend some advice? For those tv wires you can cover them with some wire cover strips that go against the wall and can be painted to match the wall colour. makes everything much more organised looking! x

I had the same issue with my rug, so I put it at a diagonal with more of it covering the part of my floor with more negative space. And I love it! I thought it would look funny but it’s actually perfect!

This is such an amazing room makeover! It feels so relaxing and elegant!!! Artwork tip - If you ever want your DIY artwork to really match the tones of the room, use some of your leftover paint from the walls to really tie in the colour :) Also can be used for painting lamp bases, planters, book shells, etc! :)
& tv cord painted to blend into wall is good idea 🛋 love the comfort it brings 👒👩🎨🤩

You have the chops girl! I’ve interned with professional interior designers and I see you as the next Joanna Gaines but with more flexibility. Gaines has her farmhouse style repeatedly implemented in everything while you leave behind hints of your style. Your approach is spot on: find out what your client/friend likes develop and incorporate into a spatial design. Use the room’s layout like a canvas find the focal point and draw and fill sparingly so everything is spatially balanced!
I love how you take yourself almost out of the equation and helps people feel as if they did it on your own which is very empowering! Love you MaCenna! XO, Xine :)

I wouldn’t have put that rug so under the bed or so centred. It could have worked at an angle as well or pulled out more the wardrobe side and layer it with a smaller circle rug

A GREAT TIP FOR AN AREA RUG:
Put it on a diagonal
@SharonAcord That is exactly what I was going to say; on the diagonal, and move it out from under the bed toward the direction of the doorway. As it is now, you have lost most of the rug under the bed. If she wants something under foot for when she gets out of bed, a small faux sheepskin rug in a coordinating color would look nice up by her bedside dresser

This room is considered extremely small in the US 😟 it’s bigger than my master bedroom here in the U.K.
In most parts of germany it's the same
We do most things big here. It’s nice that you guys actually get to experience living small and not feel left out that you don’t own a huge house
Not really though. My entire house is the size of many CZcams rooms. IT depends where you live. In the city rooms are extremely tiny. America is huge so of course there will be some places, like farms, where the homes are large. I was in Greece and Switzerland and saw homes much bigger than mine. Unless you are super rich your home is normal.
