- Today was our last day in Tokyo, Japan! Since it was our last day here, we set out to find food, gachas, and more food! One of the restaurants that we went to looked creepy and cool at the entrance. The next stop is Osaka!

Dutch babies are one of my go to meals. They are fun and easy to make. You should try when you get home.
Congrats on having baby.
Dutch baby pancakes are from SEATTLE! Dutch babies were introduced in the first half of the 1900s at Manca's Cafe, a family-run restaurant that was owned by Victor Manca. They're derived from the German pancake dish pfannkuchen, it is said that the name Dutch baby was coined by one of Victor Manca's daughters, where "Dutch" was her corruption of the German autonym deutsch.
But yes, a Dutch baby is very similar to a Yorkshire pudding, with a few differences: the Yorkshire pudding is more likely to be baked in individual servings, the pan is usually greased with beef drippings, and the result is rarely sweet. Dutch babies are larger, use butter, and are frequently sweet.
MMm those pancakes 🥞 looked soooo gooood!!! And no anchovies for me.. I don’t like food when it looks back at me 😅😂
At 1:48, it's a Japanese take on flan called purin. The difference is while flan uses evaporated milk, purin uses regular milk, which makes it lighter. Flan is also typically baked in a water bath, resulting in a smooth, custardy texture, while Japanese pudding is typically steamed. Flan's history is traced back to the Roman Empire when egg surpluses were transformed into custards to produce both sweet and savory tastes. It was specifically France that created the flan of today and introduced caramelized sugar into the mixture, with the word flan coming from the proto-Germanic flado. It was introduced to Japan during the Meiji period and has been extremely popular since.
Interesting video that's a really unexpected and hilarious funny surprise , There are really lots of unique and interesting things in tokyo its one reason why many tourists choose go tokyo first then other places its fun to special unique things and expereiences. Lots of love and blessings.

Can't wait until the prize reveal video back in FL, both Singapore & Japan. & i really love Osaka, i actually prefer Osaka over Tokyo! So, all the bags you shipped off, are they a combo of Singapore & Japan or did you ship off your Singapore winnings b4 your trip to Japan? Oh & the little anchovies, if they're really dry dip them in vinegar they're very good.... a salty & sour crunch! So, there's 2 videos I'm looking 4ward to from you guys, the prize reveal & a modified house tour!

I tried boba here where I live in West TN. It was from a Vietnam restaurant owned by a Vietnamese family. I don't know if boba is Vietnamese, but if it is, this should be authentic! I DID NOT like it!!! ❤ I thought the boba was going to be like doughy, but it was exactly like an orbee! 😂 And it had no taste!

Do you all live in Japan or do you still live in USA
They still live in Florida, these videos are all pre recorded when they was in Japan
No Comment on the Title. LOL I don't like things with Butter so I wouldn't be having a Baby. Looks like you had fun on your last day.
i thought cris is prengant
First :)
If they taste like Yorkshire Pudding, then I can imagine how good they are. Here in the UK, you traditionally have Yorkshire Pudding with roast beef. You use the juice from the roast pan and add it to the ingredients when you make the pudding. It tastes great with gravy and the beef, which is savoury. But, I can imagine them tasting just as good sweet.
Hah. We make Dutch babies at home all the time. Also, love the short Angel. I just bought the same one.
Kids at an old age ths the two of you❤🎉🎉🎉
As a Dutch person, can I just say I have no idea what a Dutch baby is. I've never seen that in my life and now you've got me intrigued as to where it came from and why it's called that. 😂
It's also know as a German Pancake.
