- Look where we are now, JAPAN! Since we were already in Singapore, we decided to hop on a flight over to Japan to have some more fun. We are excited to be back in Japan! Let's see what new stuff we will find this trip.

Yup, Luffy is pronounced Loof-fee! And that's not a roach at 7:59, that's a giant water bug aka a toe-biter! And the beetle Angel got is a stag beetle! In Japan, they're called okuwagata! The Tokyu Kabukicho Tower was designed by Yuko Nagayama & Associates and developed by Shimizu Corporation, the same group that worked on Singapore Changi Airport's Terminal 3, the terminal with the long slide, free cinema, and butterfly garden. In order to form a continuous skyline, the height of the building was set at approximately 225 m (or 738 ft) to match the high-rise buildings in Nishi-Shinjuku, while its base was set at approximately 110 m (or 360 ft) to match the height of the buildings around Kabukichō.
Architect Yuko Nagayama was in charge of the design. Inspired by the former water fountain of Kani-gawa and by the Buddhist goddess of water, the tower was designed with the image of a fountain, while the upper part expresses the force of water stretching to the sky. Tokyu Kabukicho Tower is Japan's first skyscraper designed by a woman!

Hi Angel and cris love your vlogs i have a funny story my sister and I went to bill grays for lunch when we were at seabrezz and we played a claw mechine and we tried for a bunny but it was in a bad spot and then we tried for a dog and it held on to the claw by a thred and the employes came over and started to hit and shake the mechine and then one employe got a doller and moved the claw back and forth and the dog finallly dropped

Yeah those machines are definitely on a payout from what we noticed. Not all Japanese claw machines are payout based though.

We wanted to go there while we were in Japan, but we ultimately decided not to since we did not plan ahead for it. Perhaps the next time we are in Japan we will go.

We have actually only been to Japan once this year. Our vlogs are usually at least a couple weeks delayed, especially when we are traveling.
