Good to see another Jordan Peele stan, between him, Ari Aster and the Safdi bros, those are the 3 directors I get *blindly* excited for as of recently! great video!! 🥰
Oof. Way of the water and love and thunder were just atrociously written films. Way of the water was beautiful in terms of visuals, of course, but the dialogue and storyline was some of the worst of the past decade. Where is everything, everywhere, all at once? Banshees of inisherin? The fablemans? The northman? Tar? All quiet on the western front? These five movies were not even close to being the best of the year with the exception of maverick
Honestly that’s really fair, truth be told I didn’t watch a whole lot of films in 2022 otherwise some of the movies you mentioned likely would have made my list. All quiet on the western front and The Northman did look like great films, I’ll have to check them out.
