I work at a local nursery in Indianapolis, and sell all of those plants except Gin Fizz Juniper. Seems like the berry production on it is better than most Junipers! I am absolutely in love with the Anna's Magic Ball Arborvitae. I have one planted right by my mailbox because it will stay dwarf forever with no pruning! Also I don't quite get why Gem Box Inkberry Holly is less hardy than the straight species. Inkberry Holly is hardy to zone 4 and even survives zone 3, yet Gem Box is listed zone 5. Maybe the dwarf size somehow decreased it's hardiness.

Once again you have given me so many wonderful ideas for my own small yard, I live in a zone 5 and I would love to put some of these beautiful plants in my yard, but when the snow comes there is always so much in my yard that I am afraid everything would be so buried they may not like it, but then it would insulate and protect it. I loved seeing Russell sitting there while you were talking about the one gorgeous shrub, Aaron that was perfect to capture him there. That is the one I would love to put in my yard, one on each side of the sidewalk tucked about three feet in, I can envision it the way I want it to look. Thank you so much Laura you are always such an inspiration and I just love your videos. Thanks again to you and Aaron.

Can you make a video on the care of mature evergreens? I have 3 in front of my home and they're probably more than 5 years old, about 6 foot tall and 3 foot wide. I would love to cut them down a bit but don't want to kill them or cause them to look bad. When is the best time to trim them and can I shape a mature evergreen w/o hurting it?

I love that you put so much emphasis on each seasons interest plants. I used to think gardens were only for spring and summer, but you have certainly confirmed they are not. These choices are beautiful, although only a couple will work in my zone 8, I’m excited to add them to my garden. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. It has really made me a better gardener. 👏🏻❤️👏🏻

Fluffy just might be the arborvitae I'm looking for to replace the 50yr old Emerald that flanks the steps up to my front porch! I string christmas lights on it every winter but it's such a vigorous plant that I have to spend a lot of time pruning it to maintain the max. 12ft height for the job. A compact evergreen arborvitae that only grows 10-12 ft is the answer. The Emerald is coming out next spring (groan) and Fluffy it is!
