- Similar to Remake, the best method to obtain AP in the main story is through Chadley's combat simulations, and any simulation in the Regions category will suffice in this case.
For the best results, it is recommended to link an offensive spell materia with Magnify, and then equip First Strike and any accessory that boosts ATB at the start of battle. You should also link your AP Up materia to any materia that requires substantially more AP than others. When the simulation begins, spam your spell at the beginning of each round, and you will finish the encounter in a matter of seconds. Rinse and repeat (select Rechallenge) until you have leveled up your preferred materia loadout. - Hry

What materia are worth grinding max rank for the Hard Mode playthrough?
Several sets of HP Up, MP Up, Elemental, Magnify, Fire/Ice, Lightning/Wind, Strength/Magic Up, and MP Absorb/Swiftcast if you want to have an easier time with certain legendary sims. For Hard mode in particular, ideally you will want to have more than 3 sets of HP Up and MP Up because the final boss requires you to use all 7 characters.

Hey man I’m currently level 45 at chapter 12 are you gona do a video to farm levels in order to get to level 70
You should be able to get to level 70 naturally by completing the Musclehead Colosseum and doing all of the sims after completing the game. Let me know if you're still not there and I will record a video if necessary.

@@dino007fernandes5 Wait until you beat the game, you get an exp and AP boost. Then grind the first batch of soldier at the start of Chapter 13, and then retry the battle after the first group, takes about 15-20 min from 50-70
@@chrisnevs8869 thanks for that man I’m on chapter 14 now ! So you say the first very big group of soldiers ? Then just keep defeating them save reload and again?
