How do I find out my personality type ??
INTJ: "I've watched the trailers enough to know its going to end with him dying."
INTJ's friend: "Bro give it a chance you don't know that for sure."
*Movie ends exactly how the INTJ flawlessly predicted."
INTJ's friend: "Don't say it. For the love of God, don't say it..."
INTJ: *Mentally says to himself* "I told you so."
My INTJ and I (INTJ) used to watch Cold Case. It got so that we could predict the end and the killer based on how much time was left in the episode once it got near the end. The episodes had a formula, so that even if it didn't make sense for person A to be the killer based on everything else, person A would have to be the killer because we hadn't seen them in too long.
@@jenniferhanses4205 well, the show has a really simple formula: look at evidence that strongly implicates person X, get distracted by tangent, bring up new evidence of person x having done it.
Life with my INTJ husband.
I do this.
@@jenniferhanses4205 So true. I don't watch a lot of tv series and even less movies, but in such tv series there is always this one person that is there all the time and "obviously good and not the killer". That's very often the killer. Newer movies and TV series try to come up with newer approaches, where the person who looks like he did it and is bad, really did it, but because the dead person appears to be "the bad guy". I was already thinking about writing a book, just because of this strong urge of "gosh, this can so easily be done better". But then I also think about the fact, that most people don't realize this much, so it works fine way it works. Peoples cluelessnes can be really frustrating sometimes.

@@marieindia8116 I would definitely accept that challenge. It wouldn't be even be inconvenient to strap slim jims to one leg and ChickoSticks to the other. A few Capri Suns in the bra and tape some sandwiches to my stomach, or a ziploc bag of fried chicken.
INFJs watch movies just to test if we were right about the plot twist all along đ
Exactly! xD
is an obsession, yes.
oh my gosh yes ahaha !! I guessed shawshank redemption at the beginning and was right and my ENFP husband was slightly mad but mostly impressed xD
We are the worst to watch a movie with. We will tell you the plot within the time it takes the opening credits to roll, we will be right, you will hate us, and learn so much about the convoluted (to others) way our mind works as we unravel the most twisty murder cases. If anyone COULD get away with murder, it would be an INFJ, as we are good at exploring all future options and consequences and we can keep a secret. Lucky we love mankind in general and as an idea.
It's a thrill in the times when we find out we were actually on the wrong track though đxx
As an INTJ, I would not go to the movie theatre and would rather watch movie in the home
As an INTJ, i agree. Watching a movie at home is comfortable but if a movie I like is only available on theatre, I go watch it alone.
same - INTP
Agreed. Either I Se-out myself with full on IMAX at an action packed film or just use 123movies at home.

The INTJ one was the worst. I mean, wouldn't anyone tell someone to stop if they are constantly annoying them? Maybe not in such an agressive tone but still.
It did happen to me and I said "Oh no , my Grandmother used to say God takes back peep's who kick the one's in front in the next 21 days "....

This INTJ was kind. I would have used an air horn right in the child's face. Just kidding...I probably would have just looked back, menacingly.
pfff wanna be INTJ you all are, I would go at matinees and small cinema theaters so it was always empty. ~ Leveled up INTJ.
And now that all those small theaters went bankrupt I no longer go to the cinema, I can't be talking to living humans face to face... that's ENFJ stuff.
I'm an INFP I don't mind going alone since I'm going for the experience of watching a movie on the big screen in a room full of people. I like watching people's reactions when watching movies tbh, might sound kinda creepy, but I love seeing how all the different people react to something or even just their face as they're drawn in by the movie. I love moments when the audience has the same reaction (lots of people crying, a perfectly synchronized gasp, laughter). Everyone is there alone or with a few other people but at the same time they're all there together sharing this experience.
uhh..cool. i am also INFP. for me, it is kinda like the opposite. i would be too immersed with the movie to take notice about other ppl. sometimes i would whisper some comments about the movie with the person i am going with. my sisters are my most favourite ppl to go to movies with.
And that's why I love watching reaction videos on CZcams :) It's like enjoying your favorite movie again for the first time!
I like people watching, but prefer not to be in the movie theatre for that.
Dude same but I havenât been able to live out my dream to go see a movie or a amusement park alone
im an INFP, and love seeing other peoples reactions too lmao it makes me more excited I guess?
*I relate on the rollercoaster ride. As an INFJ, I make sure to feel every emotion of very character in the film hahaha*
Same, feel a bit exhausted and ready for a nap at the end. lol
When I was kid, my mom made me hide behind a pillow during some scenes, because I feel and over- identify with the embarrassment, sadness, or pain the characters experience, and got highly stressed out as result, and she was tired of having to deal with an 8 year old that was upset for hours or days because of what happened to someone on the screen!
@@amandabaker4678 i used to hide me behind a pillow to đ
I tried to watch Angela's Ashes once. Stopped just a few minutes in and said "Why am I subjecting myself to a movie that will make me incredibly sad?" and have never tried to watch again lol.
Also...the second hand embarrassment in comedies is so strong
@@CMUShawna No lie, I will leave the room if a sitcom is heading for a bit that I can see will be cringey for the characters. Just can't handle the fictional awkwardness. XD
As an ENTP I am pretty much the exact opposite of that. I always try to make people believe that the movie is gonna go one way so they end up being surprised that something completely different happened. I actually care that people get to experience plot twists
Same i was gonna say I hate spoilers. So much that I go into things blind and I want the same for other people because I don't wanna be a hypocrite when I don't want them to spoil things for me.
Yeahh.. i like to share my opinion of the movie i watch.. but speak carefully not to spoil it.. but sometimes.. i unintentionally did haha..
I ask the people around me, if they want get a spoiler or not. If not, I donÂŽt say anything. Some want spoilers because they don't want to watch the whole movie and only want to know certain things. Greetings from INTP.
My eyes are tired, I look back at my book.
I relate to everyone in this comment section right here( ENFP)
Lol I feel like I try to hide spoilers but then get too excited and spoil something anyways (ENTP here)
INTP and that much larger screen is a different distance away and not as harsh lighting, so totally counts as a break from eye strain. Of course with most theaters you'll go deaf, but that's just immersion. Besides, you need to have that phone battery saved so you can research how the effects were done, find what else the actor starred in, and go down a rabbit hole to find out the psychology behind why the character did what they did and if that's an actual human thing to do.
Hol up , I think you're on to something
ear defenders! they block out enough noise to prevent deafness block out the people talking three rows back but allow enough through that you still catch the dialogue.
Accurate.
As an INTP, I can agree that I've done this with every moviem series I've watched.
Im istp and ive researched watching something new- but at home. Away from people. Under covers.
Timmy literally became an actor to escape ENTJ.
And ENTJ still manages to judge him.
Life is not kind to poor Timmy đ
I think you mean ESTJ
@@Aisha_1117 Timmy is normally ESTJâs headache
@@Aisha_1117 right but the initial comment isnât true though
That's a very "me" thing as an INFJ. Every time I see a movie or a show, I always have to think of it in terms of how it'll change my life or how it fits in compared to every other movie or show I've ever seen.
Samee
As an INFJ, (most of the time) I end up knowing where the story is going before the first half is over and that ruins the suspense. So, I actively try hard to not understand too much about why the characters are doing what they're doing so that I can be surprised when the plot twist comes. The thing is it actually works. Just engage your Se and don't pay full attention to the possibilities and enjoy the present. Its very fun. 10/10 would recommend. Anyone else?
I so the exact same since Iâm also an INTJ, sometimes being right is a curse
Oh you're so rare, so cool. Man, you're so special.
@@InHellITrust ngl you did make me laugh. but i don't think I'm special. I would think most of us have had this experience because there's only so many movies you can watch until you realize its just the heroes journey repeated over and over again. not only in the literal sense, but also in the metaphorical one.
As an infj
i look for the execution for the most part tbh..and thats why i can hardly enjoy hollywood..because not only its predictable..the executin is just...bland...
So for me predictability doesnt make anything bad as long as it is enjoyable, has a good theme, great execution, deep characters and impact. Also knowing how something happened and getting your desried outcome is always worth it..SOme people dont value the process and thats much more important then the outcome most of the time
However i am more leaned towards graphical novels for the most part since they are actually unpredictable..Anime as well..Left hollywood for a long time now..
And when something is unpredictable..well..its impact is huuuge.
yep and that's where my Se really came around. just clear your mind & open your mind to enjoy and lower your expectations of the movies.
I've always been asked why I enjoy going to movies alone and that was a spot-on description đ INFP
Same it's so accurate
I like that he's wearing a t-shirt with a Mr. Rogers pic on it for the infp.
@@goldengirl5165 That sounds perfect and now I want a Mr Rodgers t-shirt.
Definitely spot on. During my studies for a while I used to live across the street of an old cinema and on Wednesday mornings they used to show old films for a very reduced price. Sometimes I would be completely alone there, only me and a classic of the past. The best experience was seeing Fantasia there all by myself!!! I cherish the memory of that experience until today.
@@helgaioannidis9365 that sounds absolutely amazing đČ
3:32 as an INFP, I can confirm this as true. Except the sequel thing because some sequels are pretty good
I watched Venom: Let there be Carnage when it hit theaters by myself. Originally a friend wanted to come with me but they became sick. We could have rescheduled but I decided to watch it alone. When the movie was over, I actually preferred it this way. Less noisy, nobody was talking to me, nobody ate popcorn or nachos next to me or was slurping their drink, no fight for the armrest ...
It was fantastic.
I'm a INFP too, and the first movie I watched alone was Venon. Before that I thought going alone to movies was sad, but then I loved it.
If you have the time, could you share your thoughts on your:
Greatest movie:

Favorite movie character:
I'm curious to get insight from people from any type!
By the way, did you think the Venom 2 was fantastic? Or the experience? I haven't seen the movie but I loved first appearance of Venom in the comics where he had normal looking teeth. I used to draw him as a kid! Carnage as well so I'm curious to read your thoughts or anyone's comics thoughts. I thought Venom looked more intimidating being a beefed up Spider-man with regular human teeth, so it was a subtle difference but that smile gave enough of an eery feeling to trigger Spider-man's Spidey Sense, which would needed to be relied on since Spidey Sense didn't work on the Venom Symbiote, and being that Peter was so introverted not paying attention attention to social cues, it was kinda neat to play on that.
I heard the movie wasn't so hot, but I finally saw X-Men Origins Wolverine after avoiding it based on fan criticism but, and while I thought X-Men Days of Future Past is the greatest Wolverine movie, I thought that X-Men Origins Wolverine captured the spirit of Wolverine from the comics best. Deadpool as well. At least live action-wise.
I loved the scene with Wolverine on the farm with the kindly elderly couple finally getting a glimmer of a familial connection before things went awry as per usual.
And the 1 minute Wade Wilson/Deadpool action scene embodied the character I liked from the specific 1997 Joe Kelly comics (he was my favorite superhero character). Not as well as the epic Rap Battle Deadpool vs Boba Fett. Those guys did the best job so far in my opinion playing on Deadpool's pride, which was the main struggle with the character on his path to redemption.
Feel free to write a novel post. And this extends to anyone even if you don't know your type. Have an amazing weekend and take care!

ENFP: Me trying to find meaning in Kung Fu movies from the 80s. Realting 100%!
I'm an INFP but I still related to this pretty well đI love theorizing about movies but then you watch one that's great but doesn't have any hidden anything so you just make stuff up for fun haha!
INFJs - We are the worst to watch movies with. We're always like, "Oh, so this guy is the killer..." and the movie just began. We then talk about each character's motivation and how their scenes will play out, deriding the cinematic choices made by the director. We then go on to tell everyone near us the hidden symbolism of each part of the set, while also complaining about the historical inaccuracies riddled throughout the film. Finally, after it's over, we're like, "Wow! That was so fun! Wanna watch another?" and no one returns our texts... Which we somehow are grateful for.
ETA: Oh! And if the film was originally a novel??? You'll never, EVER hear the end of the comparisons and how shitty the film is in comparison.
Agreed. Except IMO films should not be judged with the criteria of how closely they mimic their book. I.e. they should be similar but not the same. Which is why I might watch a film before reading the book, so it gets a fair judgement - INFJ
Definitely have done the "oh so this guy is the..." and the person accompanying is like "no! Oh wait you're right" đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
@@jamielaw4749 Oh, dang, I cannot fathom watching the film first!! I always want to read the book first because they're so much more nuanced. I don't mind if a film and its novel don't "match" at all, I just get sad when the film misses the point of a novel knowing most people won't go on to read the book (if that makes sense).
@@SmittenKitten. i know right. novels are almost 99 percent of the time better than the film and more nuanced. I can't imagine even wanting to watch the film first and ruin the first-time rollercoaster experience of the novel's storyline.
Besides after reading the novel, when you watch the movie and see how different what you imagined is from what other people did, it's awesome. Let me tell you the Giant Squid, thestrals, dementors and literally everything I imagined in Harry Potter were so so different from the movies.
@@lonesoul17 I SO agree!! You create this entire world in your mind, so when it's translated to film, you're always like, "That's not what they look like..." It's so strange! Reading a book feels so personal, while movies are their voyeuristic counterparts.
As an INFP, this is so relatable. I watch movies and tv to escape the daily life pressure and expectations and forget about everything happening in the real world. I call it 'escaping reality' which is why I watch a lot of TV which my mom probably won't understand.

As an ENTP, I can tell that I usually spoil people without actually knowing it's a spoiler; it's just that a lot of scenarios are predictable so I end up knowing what will happen before it happens. That or I imagine an amazing theory and the story turns out to be much simpler, leaving me into utter disappointment. :')

ISTP is very accurate lol. The best cinema-going experience I've had in my life was when I got an almost empty big auditorium all to myself. There were maybe 4 other people at best scattered around, all by themselves as well. It was Tuesday noon. The cinema was very old, Soviet-make. The movie was Blade Runner 2049. INFP đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
I'mma disagree on a nuance@@user-bi6kp5yv7f, Fi & Fe both care a lot about others' feelings, but Fi stresses boundaries more while Fe is after connectivity. Fe wants to maximize, Fi wants to regulate; Fe wants stronger, Fi wants healthier; but both are acutely sensitive to the values of others
As a younger INFP, I probably would have politely stayed quiet & internalized a sense of resentment because my Si is NOT happy about the situation and CANNOT ignore it, or at a better stage I might find it motivating to not be a POS parent & set a higher internalized standard for myself, which can be a rather Fi thing to do. Fi can be very nonconfrontational, especially with Si, it's just too unpleasant to be worth anything

@@danika9411 me too!! Theories are the best đ I love to discuss about them. Sadly most people even get mad at me because of how many theories I make đ
xD I don't do theories, I don't think that far. My friend does (maybe she's an ENFP) but I like listening to her. I feel bad not having any theory. I'm an INFP-T
I do both because my brother is an ENFP XD
As ENFP I know "who killed" after about 5 to 10 min. of movie, because of my intuition, very good reading of nonverbal comunication and relations between characters, and thinking up the most crazy scripts, that appear to be true. This is exhausting đ
As a fellow ENFP, this is so true for me too! đŻđŻđŻ
ENTP here, same :')
Omg! I was just about to comment this. I always try to guess (and usually end up being correct) who did what. I'm constantly pointing out things and trying to connect the dots...and sometimes my friends get annoyed at me for interrupting the movie....but it's just my excitement getting to me. It's like a puzzle...except some of them are super obvious
- A fellow ENFP:)
@@autumnknox7108 I had the same with my friends who were like "no, not again" đ So I came up with idea to write down our guesses and check it after movie. It became fun instead of being annoying. Allthough it's super difficult to stay quiet for a whole movie. Now I'm probably the same ennoying with my "I know but I won't tell you yet" đ
True :) Thats why most of all movies are boring. :(
ENFP here too. đ
My younger sister's an ESFP, and I can confirm that she is the absolute snackiest out of anyone in my family while we're watching a movie.
But does she bust out a frying pan and start cooking a fried egg with a lighter?
@@AK-jt7kh She hasn't yet.
@@Chigger Well, she is young. Thereâs always hope for the future
"the absolute snackiest". Thank you. đđ€Łđ I will try using that in a sentence at least once a day until it gains a permanent place in my patois / repertoire.
So true about ISTJs noticing all the flaws in a fictional work. My ISTJ big brother makes a great beta reader whenever I enter a microfiction or short story contest.
My mom was an ISTJ. It's been many years that she's been gone, but ISTJ humor brings her back a little.
ISTJ here, and I do have to say I don't really like movies that are way too fancy and make no sense, they just always leave me very confused . đ
@@misseva7404 aw I'm sorry to hear that :( .
âHow many people do you know that are that cool and attractive?â
As usual, INFJ is the one who gets me. đ€Ł
#YouveHeardThisBefo
My mother's an ESFJ and I'll be honest, it's a nightmare going to the movies with her! đ€Ł
As an ISFP when i tell you that i cry at movies as if a family member had died. Omg what he said was accurate, my family is genuinely worried for how passionately i cry at things
Donât worry about it. Pretty sure that youâll cry seeing your family members died
Same! My husband asks me if I'm okay even when we're watching the same movie together XD
I can't believe he cracked the egg one handed! that's real talent!
I can confirm that my esfp husband will sneak in food to any venue If he can get away with it.
But, I (intj) am also guilty of it too! Lol
And I have also sneaked into another movie after the first one I watched (which was paid for) ended.
As someone who enjoys Se, living in the moment is really fun!
1:45 was me while watching Tenet
Got my popcorn and gummy bears ready.

How did you do that

I have a close friend who never makes it through a whole movie. He is a well known movie sleeper. lol

As a swiftie I am gonna think of miss Americana and heartbreak song :)
I like this switch up in INFP style, it's refreshing not to be the magical be-rainbowed sunbeam or devastating doom cloud for once
Self irony at the end is everything đ
Love the vid, FJ!
I've never heard a most accurate James Bond movie summary.
Still pouring on the wit with this latest batch of videos! Loving it!

LOL, that guy takes sneaking food into the movies to a whole 'nother level! Love the frying pan & Bic lighter - super subtle!
It brings Mr. Bean at his finest to mind. đ
I'm also one of those movie-goers who sometimes needs clarification on which character is doing what, or what in blazes the British dude just said. đ
Very relatable!
Oooo, I like Mr. Bean!!!
INFP-T:
Sometimes: "I don't want to watch it" but my family drags me in and I end up staying up through the movie and enjoying it the most out of everyone I went with.
Other times: *suddenly creates fake scenarios of the scenes*
True story: My school took grade 5 and 6 to watch a movie and I was the only crying in the whole theaterđ I was super emotional đ
All of the times: Finishes my popcorn and coke before the preview even ends cause I just can't stop myself đđ.
OMG the ESFP had me in tears
Can't believe I am actually up to date. I love ALL your work. Thank you.
Omg ESFP absolutely killed me đđđ INTJ too. And those ISTJ outfits are always so cute! Also I need that Mr Rogers shirt lol
ENFP - wow I feel so seen. You CAN find meaning in just about any story, learn about archetypes and you start seeing them everywhere. The Daniel Craig James Bond, for instance, is in a constant struggle with his shadow, he is sublimating his violent and psychopathic urges into a more socially useful activity by being a spy, but he is still uncomfortable about how good he is at killing and how much he secretly enjoys it
He is projecting his unconscious violent shadow onto the bad guys, and then by killing the bad guys he is attempting to kill the "bad guy" within himself
It's true, other types just watch movies on such more shalow level than us. Maybe except INFP.
As an INFJ I thoroughly enjoyed your analysis.
As an INFJ I LITERALLY relate to everything he said.
As an INTJ at 4 am, I actually laughed. This is like the first time Iâve genuinely laughed in a while.
2:29 marvel movies
When me and my friends watch a movie together me (INTP) and my friend (INFP) enjoy movie with many theories trying to predict the end, find plot holes, easter eggs and so on... And then there's our another friend (ESFJ) asking every obvious thing every minute and we have to stop the movie (when we watch it at home) and explain to her after which she asks the same things again...
Lol
As an INFP, I can relate to thatâŠand surprisingly as I was playing guessing the type just by how they behave in this vid, I got my type right and 2 other types as well (cuz I didnât remember which ones Iâve already guessed) Love your content FJ đâšđ·
That background sound during the ESFP-clip at 1:03 was so confusing! To me it sounded like it came from somewhere in my apartment. đź
Loved when you start making an omelet!! Laughed with tears!!!
I like how you casually brought in your âcool and attractiveâ tagline. Iâm an ISFP/INFP 51/49 and I related to both but definitely the I can cry all I want in the privacy of my own car.
I just forgot the volume was really high when I put my headphones on and the first one in the trailer made me jump đ âŠlove the guy going to the movies alone lol
This was so good!!! You totally nailed it. I think the next one you ought to do is "The 16 Personalities Going Live."
This just might be my fave. As an INFJ whose best friend is an ENFJ and husband is an ISTP (and his bf is an ESTP), I gotta say you nailed that part.
this literally happens every time. i eat the food so quickly that a small bucket of popcorn is finished by the first third of the film đ€§
INFP was very accurate. I love watching movies by myself and getting lost in them with all the emotions. I feel like watching a serious movie or something I'm really into with someone else ruins the impact because I'm too worried about how the other person reacts to get lost in it. Does anyone else have this problem? Lol
4:22 He said his catch phrase IN the sketch! Just like when they say the title of the movie IN the movie! Roll credits :P
I'm literally going to see a movie today-
And I've been binging your content too-
This is too meta, FJ
when the world wanted comments, they disappeared.
So apparently this is the first comment on this video
We donât do anything quietly đ-ESFP
As an ENFP, my favorite part of a movie is the post-movie chat with my friends (who were also watching it with me).
The time unpacking all the plot holes and discussing theories are just đ
Wow, I can't believe you got my ESFJ Dad to be in your video! :P
That was a very accurate portrayal, although he does try to hold back on the questions these days because he realized it bothered some of the other members of the family.
Now he asks them after we've finished watching, which is much better.
Who knew Timmy started an acting career đ
as an INFP, I actually would rather go to a movie theater with a friend, simply because I would agonize for a long time over which movie to pick, and I'd rather someone else go up and actually communicate with the people at the ticket counter and snack stand because I hate social interaction :')
That's funny because I'm going to the movies with my friends today. Thanks, FJ, now I'm gonna start analyzing everyone. Also, even though I'm infp, I relate to estp on this one, I cannot watch a movie without talking to it (I mean, in cinemas I whisper, of course), I even do this when I'm alone, it's like the characters need to hear my complaints about them/advices to them, and when I'm with my friends I become the nerd who explains things and where we've seen the actors before, even I laugh at myself sometimes 'cause I get way too involved.
I literally leaned in with anticipation when it looked like the INFP was on. I felt so gratified to have guessed right. Very validating, thank you.
ISTP 25 jackets is over kill, but all seats beside, in front and behind are taken is point on. I prefer having a theater just about to myself but don't mind sharing some of the theater space with other ISTPs and INTJs.
Another ISTP here, and certainly have been the only one in a showing more than once.
@@Coolman13355 I know, it awesome. It's like hell yeah I got all to myself. No annoyances of others making noises or cell phones lighting up. Can watch a movie peacefully. đISTPs
as an infj, i felt that...also i'm that one friend in my group that would always have something to say about the whole movie throughout the duration of the movie playing whenever we're having a movie night. i have manners so of course i won't do that kind of thing in public, just during our movie night, in zoom
I swear, I make commentary to movies sometimes. Otherwise Ni is helping predict the plot before the movie ends (mentally) until Fe makes me proclaim, "Uh-huh..called it"
Iâm an INFJ but that ESFP was an entire mood bringing breakfast, lunch, and snacks with himâŠ.
For us INFPs, this is what qualifies as a night out for us. Either we sit in a dark room watching movies alone or sit in a dark room watching movies with other people in a vague attempt to grasp some feeling of community.
*The INFJ complaining how unrealistic the beauty standards could be while also feeling bad that they aren't real. LOL. XD*
Hahaha love the INFP's shirt, and yeah...sequels usually suck, like a bad after thought , usually not made with love lol. The ones that were intended to be stretched out over a series of movies are usually better.
You're quickly approaching a million subscribers!!!
Have you done a video on some really strong stand out examples of personality types of movie characters? That would be really fun to watch!
