The Duracell worked!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's crazy,
My keypad beeps and lights up but not they unlock / tumblers, I had the original battery in it, swapped to a Duracell and it worked!!!! 10 thumbs up

I can get in using the Key. I will try getting a new Dura Cell Battery and see if that helps . It has been a few days since I opened the safe so when I punched in the code I notice none of the numbers/letters were beeping. So I felt the battery was dead. Went to town and got a new battery but not a dura cell as this small town did not have one.. Put new energizer mx battery in and same thing Only the # sound will beep. This is a Sentinel brand 24 gun safe.. I had used an energizer battery before and it worked for about 4 months then this. How much trouble is it to change the key pad if it went bad....

My American security safe with an SG keypad stopped working overnight. I had Duracells in it and replaced them with Duracells. Still dead. Any advice?
Only the 1 2 and 3 stopped beeping; the rest of the numbers beep fine does that mean the keypad has failed? I still have the physical key so I’m not in dire straits but I’d like the keypad back if it’s salvageable

4 new Duracells and it beeps once when attaching. Then push buttons and nothing. Is it the wiring ? Can that be replaced?

I can punch the # sign and the key pad beeps as it should. But none of the numbers beep when I punch in my code So what is the issue.
If you’ve entered the wrong code a few times it may be on a 5min time out….. so wait 5-10min then try again. Otherwise the keypad is defective and it’s time to call a locksmith.
I have a Sentinal gun Safe by stack on, and randomly the electronic lock just doesn’t open even though I’m putting in the correct code, and I can’t find my safes keys anyone know why the electronic lock is just randomly not accepting the correct code to my safe ?

I have a winchester, battery died and replaced it with a Duracell. Still doesn't work. I even removed the battery, held the 0 for 10 seconds put the new battery in waited the 5 seconds and still nothing!
I use Duracell batteries but still some keypad numbers don't work. Some of the numbers work while other numbers don't. Can you help me with that
Did you get a response from anybody on this? I changed the batteries and numbers 1-6 don't beep when pressed. 7-9 and zero do beep.

I had the same issue with mine and after moving the batteries around a little bit it worked I don’t know if it was a bad connection with the wires or what but that made all the keys work
Guys, I got the solution. I pulled out the wires and spread some alcohol on them and wiped them again and all numbers worked.
I am using Duracell battery, and I'm keying the code, I hear them beeping, but the last distinctive sound is not there and not opening 😢

I found on my key pad that it would beep with the new battery but the keypad didn't work... what I found was to leave the keypad alone 5-15 minutes after the new battery was inserted before entering the code. That worked for me.
@@mastershawnn sounds like it went in lockout mode from a few bad entries…. Usually unlocks after 5-10min depending on the model.
