They also did counseling. It's also because they didn't keep in the publice eyes but went back to their normal lives, a lot of compromise and deep communication and focus on what they really wanted. We women have to understand that it cannot be all about us and viz versa with the men also.
Love that statement Jordan made, 'she doesn't need me, she just wants me in her life'. Hope a lot of young women can hear and understand what he means, she is an independent woman but wants him there for support, especially when she has a tough day, she can stand on her feet, if God forbids he has an accident etc etc. That's the advice my grandmother gave me and I passed on to my daughter and when I speak to other youngwomen.
I understand what Jordan means: JoJo is independent, self-reliant; she can take care of herself... All that's great & it's how we have to look at it when we're single but when we choose be in a relationship, it's a different story.
Couples have to be able to rely on, support & be there for each other; otherwise, why bother? When you're a couple, esp after you have kids, there's so much more that needs to be done. One cannot expect to do it all & not need the other person.
Women who have that mindset in a relationship are often creating a problem down the road. They end up complaining the guy isn't pulling his weight, not helping, not supporting her in the ways she needs. Often he has no idea because she doesn't feel &/or doesn't want to 'need' him. She gets resentful often without ever saying a word, until she blows her top or checks out emotionally or actually from the relationship. The poor guy usually never even sees it coming.

I ain’t even gonna lie…when I watched Jojos season years ago I didn’t have the most faith that they would be one of the lucky couples that would actually make it down the isle. But I am so happy they made it. Jojo is just the sweetest and they both deserve all the happiness in the world ❤️
I agree. I was not happy about the finale of her season (but so much can be the editing- we know). I’m glad it worked out and now do believe they were always meant to be.
It's hard to predict which couples will or will not make it based on what we see on the show. As JoJo mentioned, the most important part of the relationship is what happens after the show ends. It seems the couples that make avoid the limelight & go back to their real lives. It helps to live near each other so they can do the day-to-day activities. That's how they really get to know each other & figure out if the person they thought the other was is who he or she really is.
At the end of the show I always hoped the relationships would work. Now, I just hope they give the relationship a chance, not rush into marriage, are open & honest with each other... not act out of desperation. When it doesn't work, so be it. I always think at least they didn't get married & had kids before figuring out they weren't right for each other. When it does work, as it has for Jo Jo & Jordan, I pray for them, wish them the best & hope they remember their vows. It's only after they make that marriage commitment that hope it will work for the long run, for a lifetime.

My favorite Bachelor couple…no doubt they were meant to be together. There was just something about them on the show that seemed different and now it has come full circle! Beautiful couple, awesome wedding, and now their journey will continue!

Hands down, JoJo was my favorite Bachelorette! At first I wasn't so sure about Jordan for her, but he is just what she needed and deserved. JoJo is someone I would definitely want to be friends with! I'm so glad they've made it work. I've been rooting for them from the sidelines. There was something about their relationship that felt strained, but it felt like they had a strong connection. Jordan seems so happy in this video...I wasn't always sure about him through all of this, but he seems to be a great partner to JoJo. I wish their little reality show (remodeling empty spaces to become AirBnBs). More than that, I wish them a life full of love and happiness.
