@@gabrielbro8083 while that is true, you have to account for the fact that Kakuzu was there and Bijuu bombs don’t really vaporize anything and they more or less blow everything to pieces. Even if Hidan was blown into pieces by the Nibi, Kakuzu could’ve just stitched him together since he survived too (holy shit). This wouldn’t be the case if he got vaporized because how do you live as dust? He would “survive” but he’d be fucked anyway because he is susceptible to starvation and how the hell does dust eat? C0 is just way to extreme and is almost like getting hit with the Tsuchikage’s Jinton.

It's not just do to the fact that Madara is ridiculously powerful, but that he grew up in the warring state period where he pretty much experienced war on a daily basis for most of his life. So his reflexes are incredibly sharp and can effortlessly fight a battalion of shinobi like he did against the shinobi alliance and how he just toyed with the 5 kage. Warfare is like muscle memory for Madara. So whenever Swag brought up, "If ____ can do this, then there's no reason madara can't" is exactly on point.

The biggest issue with teamwork and the Akatsuki is that the Akatsuki is made up of incredibly powerful *solo* fighters. They aren't really shinobi in the classic sense that we're used to seeing in the Naruto world; by that, I mean that their experience or strength in *team* strategy is lower than even your average Leaf Jonin. Obito and Itachi have reasonable experience as former Leaf ninja (particularly Itachi from his ANBU experience), the paths of Pain work in essentially perfect harmony with each other, and Hidan and Kakuzu made a decent duo. However, none of this implies that any of them would naturally be prepared or equipped for complex 10-plus-person strategy. Even if the most intelligent members of the Akatsuki (i.e. Itachi) were to concoct a strategy, it doesn't guarantee that the personalities or weaknesses of the less intelligent members wouldn't get in the way. Moreover, any team strategy would most likely boil down to using most members as a complex distraction so one person can deliver a max-damage attack, which Madara would likely see through and be able to counter (assuming that the Akatsuki members were all humble enough to swallow their pride and temporarily act as fodder for someone else to land the killing blow, which is also extremely unlikely).
Each member of the Akatsuki was formidable because they were each considered a one-man army. Even when members worked in tandem, the strategy essentially devolved into "You take care of those guys and I'll take care of these ones." It wasn't about pulling off combo-jutsu like Naruto and Sasuke were frequently shown doing; it was simply about giving each other room enough to do their own thing, which is *not* the same thing as team strategy.
Team strategy is an interesting argument, but there's nothing to suggest that the Akatsuki could pull it off even marginally, let alone seamlessly. And, against someone like Madara, the slightest misstep or miscue from one member of the team would likely give him the opening he needs to completely dismantle their plan.

Gotta say you're right, but I see at least a few cases in let's say 100 battles where a well planned and executed team work strat would defeat the weakest forms of madara. Using konan, kakuzu, hidan and especially kisame with his water dome and pain with chibaku tensei as distractions, itachi and deidara might have enough ap to harm madara or even his susanoo with C0 and amatersu or the blade of tsutsuka. They would be nimble enough to not die instantly due to being teleported by obito and his kamui and if you think that obito can kamui inside madaras susanoo that ap is even greater. Finally, the akatsuki have some one-shot kills should they catch madara of guard by the use of all the distractions, large scale attacks and obitos kamui: If you include sasori, obito or zetsu could try poisoning madara with poisonous blades or gas. Itachis tsutsuka blade should also kill madara if he hits his main body and obito could try sucking madara into the kamui dimension.
If they can coordinate all these attacks and find a opening versus a not senju-enhanced godly reaction-speed madara, I think the akatsuki should grap at least a hand ful of wins out of 100 against madara. The majority they wouls still lose due to in character weaknesses and failing teamwork but still they have somewhat of a chance.

I'm guessing the reason that the seal was still removed despite it being a genjutsu is that Obito's chakra was really being influenced by the events of the genjutsu even though his body was not. (Since Obito had also placed himself in the genjutsu not just Kakashi)

The Sasori poison argument can be more easily made when you remember that even the smallest scratch from any of his weapons is gonna poison you. So hypothetically speaking if he manages to cut Madara’s skin at all then he’ll be poisoned. Now, granted, the poison does takes 3 days to take full effect, but at least it’s a somewhat viable argument to make.
unless Sasori used a poison that could kill Madara within minutes of application, Madara will have enough time to realize he's been poisoned, steal Itachi's Sharingan and use one of them to script an Izanagi.
That wouldn't really work since Madara was able to survive and counter the poison stick created by some of hashirama's wood style trees which is most likely stronger than sasoris poison.

I been seeing some "Black Zetsu killed Madara" comments and I'm gonna address that. Black Zetsu didn't kill him, he corrupted/infused him with Kaguya's chakra and he morphed into Kaguya. The reason that Perfect Susano'o counters everything is because:
1. Attack potency

Now here is my thought on how the Akatsuki could hypothetical win against Madara.
Still its pretty unlikely and it relies on Madara not using any clones.
So Madara would use his Susanoo directly at the beginning because he doesn't want to underestimate them.
After that Pain would spawn all his summons. Deidara, Maybe Sasori (if he has the range or he can fly because of one of his puppets), and the Summons that can fly, fly to the head of the Susanoo to annoy and distract Madara and to try and break the Susanoo head. At the same time Kisame uses his Great Exploding Water Colliding Wave jutsu thing and starts absorbing the chakra from the Susanoo at the legs. Surely Madara will notice that and will try to stop him with the Susanoo Sword. Pain can probably push it away with all mighty Push. But the cooldown for that is longer than Madara needs to swing it again so Itachi is trying to block it with the Yata Mirror. Maybe that might be enough time that the legs of the Susanoo breaks and the Susanoo and Madara falls. Because Kisame was at the legs Madara would fall into the Water pool that got way bigger because of all the chakra. This water than turns into many paper bombs that Konan was preparing since the beginning of the fight. Madara would survive that for sure but maybe he would get a bit of damage. Kakuzo and Sasori would look with there puppets for that one drop of blood and then bring it to Obito as fast as possible. After that Obito would bring it into the Kamui dimension where Hidan is already waiting. Then Hidan is going to do his ritual and kill Madara.
Now I know there are many things that might not exactly work like that and Madara would fight really passively in that scenario but it's the best team play by the Akatsuki that I could come up with.

you stated that the susanoo that Madara is inside of falls into the trap before getting bombarded with paper bombs that Konan planted. assuming those paper bombs are the 10 million/billion/trillion(I forgot which number) one that she used against Obito, it is still unlikely to actually break through the susanoo. and since we’re talking about the susanoo having legs, you’re referring to the full body susanoo. but let’s say that it somehow did manage to break, or at least damage it. the problem with that is Madara could reinforce the full body susanoo, or immediately transform it into the perfect susanoo, thus protecting him from Konan’s ultimate jutsu and fuck up their plan

Daidaras bombs would be more effective underwater due to the shock waves of the explosion. When a grenade or some type of explosive goes off underwater, the shock wave from the blast will rupture any organ I'm the body because there is liquid to be moved around. All I'm hearing is that all Madara needs to do is summon his Susanoo and he wins hard. Because it counters just about everything they have. Barring maybe Itachi's genjutsu. So literally all the man has to do is blitz Itachi, and he's won. Which, considering Madara knows Itachi is an Uchiha, isn't that far fetched to think Madara would not prioritize Itachi first knowing that Uchiha have powerful genjutsu. Their only chance is to give Itachi an opening, which, Madara would clearly be able to counter by simply SWINGING ONCE with his Perfect Susanoo. Odds are before they even get a chance, a majority of Akatsuki would fall under Madara's genjutsu first. Madara is a man forged by war. He's always ready, and the ONLY person who managed to land a sneak attack on him was HASHIRAMA. Who he fought for a full day, to the point where he didn't have enough chakra to use his sharingan. The ONLY one they MIGHT have a chance against is final valley Madara. Who still has a perfect Susanoo. Madara is just, broken compared to the Akatsuki. And that should be evident. He was the big bad.

The only real way they win if Itachi Could somehow get close enough to Madara to remove the contact between him and the nine tails, which is.... Not a choice per say. Every other member of the Akatsuki are just ants compared to Madara.
Deidara would probably turn half of the Akatsuki to complete dust. And hidan would just be a pile of limbs that Madara collects as a trophy.
Other thing: Madara knows that Nagato eyes is his Rinnegan, so he perfectly know all his abilities and weakness, and not only knows the posible Sharingan abilities of itachi, but also all the other Uchiha trade marks moves like the shuriken jutsu, fire ball etc.
And considering Itachi and Nagato are arguably the strongest of Akatsuki... Is save to say Madara would win easily because he would know the strongest Akatsuki so well.
List of things that kills people in Naruto:
- getting crushed by a gigantic rock
- tanking a lot of paper bombs
- getting stabbed through the chest, leaving a hole bigger than the heart that was supposed to be there
- casting the Rinne Rebirth jutsu

Remember, Nagato has HUGE chakra reserves and can spam the abilities.
