It’s so cool that Nintendo liked this game enough to make their own versions of it using Wario.

For those who are unaware, Tour De Pizza (Pizza Tower Devs) and Summit have supported each other during the production of their games, in Summits previous game Antonball you can play as Peppino, while in Pizza Tower there's an Anton cameo in the background of the sewer level
It's kind of like minecraft and terraria's relationship, just 2 buds enjoying success.

WHY IS EVERYONE COMPARING THIS TO PIZZA TOWER
It's obviously a Wario-like game
the speed, the hand drawn pixel art style, the boss styles, the games aren’t too different. however they are VERY distinct in story and overall the way they are drawn (Peppino has a more MS Paint look while Anton has a more specific style)
