    ALI: Excellent topic. THANK YOU.
It is very important to discuss the "Progressive" - sometimes pero no mucho!
If you pay attention to the Progressive channels, you will see too much wishy-washy. Today I hear Mr. Mirshmeir - on Judging Freedom say: The killing in Crimea was an accident. The other day Mr. Galloway was saying: I do not like Hamas. Mr. Maté said a few months ago: Escape the first 30 minutes of Putin in the interview with Tucker Carlson: it is a waste of time! And also said on another occasion: Navalny very bravely faced the Russian government.
Paying close attention only to the other side is a shame, I think.
In order to see others and ourselves better, we need to look at our "shadows" (Jung).

We must fully resist and _always vote_ against (& less authoritarian than) both the Republican *and* Democratic Parties- including AOC, all of the squad, Bernie Sanders, Edward Markey, Mark Pocan, the justice democrats, Biden & all other democrats. Vote in every single election- at all levels. And also _endorse or anti-endorse,_ in all elections you can, for outside your voting jurisdiction.
For _all_ public positions. And this same strategy applies against the same one or more party-monopolies in _all_ countries worldwide.
Real progressives will never be Democratic Members or Democratic loyalists. Never vote for _any_ Republican member or loyalist either.
You can always _write-in_ an anti-authoritarian person if no candidates for a position fit that bill. This will continuously reduce the power of _all_ authoritarian parties in the party monopolies. Until our task is complete.
Repeat strategy for all new authoritarian parties that emerge.

I agree with almost everything you wrote. The only divergence is, I would love for everyone people stop recommending write in as an option. In most states, it isn’t. Only 7 states allow write ins without the candidate being written in, registering in advance for legal write in status. On top of that, I can’t remember how many, but several states will throw out the entire ballot if an unregistered candidate is written in for the highest office on the ballot. Then there is the fact that several states don’t count write in votes unless the election is too close to call. If there are no indie, or 3rd party candidates on the ballot, for whatever seat, it is more productive for the voter to choose uncommitted, or leave the seat blank. Aside from that, your points are spot on.

Please also take this fully and genuinely within in your political future:
      Please never vote Green Party.
Always make sure you vote _less authoritarian_ than all Democratic and Republican party members. Even the Green Party is more authoritarian because they raise taxes for the military industrial complex and the prison industrial complex. Cornel West is the same here, don’t vote for him.
Taxes can never be raised- we need to instead focus on shifting money away from the military industrial complex and away from the prison industrial complex.
This is the strategy for the working class, and would clearly be sanctioned by Peter Kropotkin himself.

"Maybe we can't vote ourselves out of genocide...Maybe we need to talk about other strategies..." Such as?
I don't think this segment was fair, it completely lacked nuance. It was Bowman's trip to the West Bank which changed his mind on Palestine and set him on a course that made him one of the strongest voices defending Palestinian rights in Congress and calling Israel's onslaught a genocide.
He had many flaws and you did well to highlight them. But your conclusions, which do not take into account any of his advocacy in favor of the movement to stop the genocide, are unfair and too harsh. No problem with saying it straight but being too harsh is unnecessary and beneath you.
If you enjoy Black Agenda Report, ok. Have you ever featured their reporting/editorials/analysis on the show before now? Their account was even more polemical and most of the value of highlighting them was to give you cover to say "we're not being racially biased by saying this."
Nuance isn't sugar coating or a failure to tell the truth. Your absolutism, where either one is always on the right side or they arrive there immediately in order for anything to count, works against your goals, one of which I thought was persuasion.
You properly highlight AIPAC/Israel demands for absolute loyalty. How is your take down of Bowman any different? Self-righteousness is a trap, please avoid it or you'll end up like the Israelis, only with less money, less power, and fewer allies.
Your allies or potential allies will take note of you kicking people, who imperfectly supported Palestinian rights, while they are down. This is not how you build support or even how to set a higher standard than politicians typically reach. You clearly see how the narrative about his loss is being used but rather than offering a clear, straight, truthful, and nuanced take, you pile on too.
This isn't about "necessary evils" in this Congressional race. It was about seeing the humanity of someone struggling in public, trying to figure what to do in a situation where moral clarity makes demands his self-interests would like to avoid. He made decisions headed in the right direction and was specifically targeted from 2020 to present because he wasn't a reliable "liberal" shill. And rather than seeing the potential in someone like this, as JVP and other aligned groups clearly did, you dismiss him in this manner.
You see Bowman as a minor figure who got what he deserved because he was fake. Ok. And now we all have a very real problem with his replacement. Congratulations.
Please do a follow up segment on what strategies in the United States will be effective that don't involve voting? I'm curious to hear that discussion.

I think this is a bad take Ali. In his district he basically kept all of the votes he got before, it was all of the new ppl in the district that killed him.

Bowman was defeated because he was an opportunist running cover for the people in power, they disposed of him when they saw fit. I don't see why we should be lauding him , and if anything, this is a yet another failure of the DSA model. Nevermind their own failure to hold him accountable in 2022 for his support for Israel.

Yeah at least he's anti-geno versus the guy who won. Latimer will be cheering on annexation of the entire West Bank next.

@@cerieti did you watch this video you are posting comments under? How thick are you Democratic voters! It’s unreal, it’s like talking to a brick wall.
      Any Democrat is controled opposition.
If you voted for ANY Democrat you voted for the current genocide.
You have been warned repeatedly, over and over again, for decades, that you were delusional & biding the country into impending major disaster. The disaster is happening RIGHT NOW.
And you cannot stop yourselves from mindlessly repeating your zombie like programming.
Anyone who has the gall to promote the idea that there is “an alternative” to the Democratic Party INSIDE the Democratic Party is worse than a belligerent Trumper at this point.
