I followed your simple skincare routine. Added retinol...and yeah i can see the difference.. it took almost 6-7 months to actually see the results. Minimal skincare routine works best for me ❤
I really enjoy the fact that you're not trying to sell us a 10 step skincare routine, you stay focused on the most important steps and that's honestly refreshing compared to all those "dermatologists" from YT. In all honesty I used to have a 7 step skincare routine which worked fine in my twenties (duh!), I'm 32 now and I realize the amount of money and time I wasted doing those freaking steps with a spray, a lotion, a toner, BHA's every night (I know I know, but it worked great for me at that time, please don't hate me lol) a night cream AND an oil 😅 Now i try to balance all that according to what my skin needs at the moment and it truly is a game changer ! I think I will only listen to you and Caroline Hirons now (she's my queen, you'll be my king I guess ! Lol) ❤
😂 I’m not familiar with Caroline but it sounds like a big honor if you hold her in such high regard! Glad you’ve found the sweet spot in your routine 🙌🏼
I really enjoy watching You! I have made my routine simpler because of you! I use Prescription Tretinoin Cream at night I double Cleanse and use a gel moisturizer in the morning and a thick Oat cream at night I also use a hyaluronic acid serum I use the Vinchy 89 Hyaluronic acid serum and I also use Cetaphil deep hydration eye gel serum! And i use SUNSCREEN EVERYDAY OF THE YEAR! I really enjoy the Scinic SUNSCREEN! That's it! 😃 I used to use sooo many expensive products but NOT anymore and my skin is just Beautiful now better than before! Oh I also use a Acid ONCE a week!
thanks a lot for being honest ❤ there are so many skin care videos on CZcams talking about so many steps which can get confusing at times. so it was kinda relieving to know that 3 step skin care routine is enough as well, and rest can be left to the genetics and prescriptions
Morning: Moisturizer + SPF30 Evening: Cleanser + Retinol + Moisturizer It’s that simple guys. Costs $20 per month and takes 2 minutes per day tops. And you’ll look like you’re 25 years old when you’ll be 50.
Well, as much as i agree with the minimal routine, i do want to mention that, for me, as a person with atopic skin that uses a mild retinoid, the skin can get really dry, especially in the winter. Don’t u think that a barrier support serum might help? Because for me it seems like it makes a difference. 🙏
What about antidioxidants? Of what i understand they are the next layer of protection after sunscreen While sunscreen minimizes creation of free radicals. Antidioxidants wil harvest any damage left. Which sounds close ro be essnetial or recommended
Everything is about genetics. For instance, my mother at the age of 70 when she got away, she didn't have a single wrinkle, dark circles ect. She never took care of her face. And I have a bunch of a such examples. On the contrary, there are women at that age or younger enough, which take intense care of their faces and the age signs are there. Definitely, a good genetics, a good epidermis quality by nature, can help a lot. Finally, it's me I realized that i had to moisturize, clean my face evt, when i started shaving. The hurts n wounds , the bloody cuts were awful. So i introduced my self to all this cosmetics univers. And i know othe persons at yhe same age as mine, who they don't even wash their face with a proper cleanser and they have a baby face. Not shaving irritation, just a baby fac8 I know this sounds unfair, but this is the biology determining factor. Genetics. After all, I'm grateful for having a such bad quality epidermis, bc i took vert early care of my face, and after all these years, i have a younger look compared to my age friends. I don't have their soft, baby skin, but my face appearance is protected against the age signs. Another point is that not every product works the same. Some are working really, and others aren't at all. Just a Moisture film on the skin. They're also products that could really having the opposite results, destroying your face. If one finds the products that really suit their needs, stsy there. No experiments with your face.
Doctor, how about the anecdotal - Cleanse, Tone & Moisturize? You did not mention using a Toner in your 3-step routine. What are your thoughts on that, please?
I have oily skin , i use niacinamide serum. Now, do i need vit C or any other serum. Also, should during night can i use both niacinamide and retinol together.
Maybe try a really gentle cleanser like Cerave Hydrating Cleanser. Or I love La Roche-Posay Toleriane Dermo-Cleanser. If your skin is still dry with the La Roche-Posay Toleraine, you don't need to rinse off as it can be used like a cleansing cream.
Just started my tretinoin journey after watching your videos. Only using it once a week to start (0.025%) and my skin is purging so badly! 😭 What is a reasonable time to wait it out before considering it not working for me? I'm using it for acne and anti-aging but my goodness the purging is horrific. I'm so careful using it as per instructions.
Almost all studies show that after 2-3 weeks maximum the skin adjusts to these side effects! It can be a rough start with retinoids, but in the long term, everyone I know ends up grateful!
Salaam. I have had dark circles since I was a very young girl and they are growing worse as I get older. I showed them to many dermatologist and some say it's due to genes and others say it's bc of pollution. I'm 18 yrs old rn and I live in CA. Also, I am Pakistani-Afghan. Do you have any suggestions or solutions? Thank you for any advice. I will really appreciate it. ❤
I started using Adapalene gel .1% seeing your video. But i have no irritation or dryness.. i have a bit of purging but not much. Does this mean it’s not working?
Thanks! Though, I went to the Dermatologist yesterday and the response to all my problems was genetics and there's no solution to that! Well, then...? Ok 👌 😎🆒
“Skincare hacks - your genetics may be fucked regardless of how hard you try with skincare” 🤣🤣🤣
The truth is the biggest hack…. 👀
the hack there is to go to derma because over the counter products are simply not enough. Active listening, man pls.

You need to go into details about the contact time!

😊 True!!

100 agreed on the 4 fundamental steps: cleansing, moisturizing, retinoid, sunscreen!
Ive started to do laser on my skin... man! that is a huuuge differente, yep not everything is just skincare routine :)
is laser hair removal the same as just laser and the one your using?
I just love you and your hard work dear Usama Syed
Keeping you in my prayers, hope you remember me when you're at the top 1 position!
Very kind of you, keep up the prayers 🙌🏼
wounderful tip
Thanks a lot!
Is retinol good for spot treatment as a teen 18
Please elaborate on the first point.
What about vitamine c
What would be an effective retinol dosage compared to Differin gel?

I use Retinal 0,05 but dont have any redness or peeling. Just dryness. And its my first Retinoid
What about antidioxidants?
Of what i understand they are the next layer of protection after sunscreen

Make video on scalp folliculitis
Thank you
You're welcome!
Can you suggest good sunscreen and how to choose the correct one
Does retinol use make skin supersensitive as compared to non retinol user
No it's a myth.
how much time should we leave them, for example an anti dandruff shampoo

Doctor, how about the anecdotal - Cleanse, Tone & Moisturize? You did not mention using a Toner in your 3-step routine. What are your thoughts on that, please?
I don’t consider a toner essential
How long should they be on them
Amen👏
I have oily skin , i use niacinamide serum. Now, do i need vit C or any other serum. Also, should during night can i use both niacinamide and retinol together.
How often should you moisturize your skin and apply retinoid? I only wash my face once a day bc twice dries me out too much
Maybe try a really gentle cleanser like Cerave Hydrating Cleanser. Or I love La Roche-Posay Toleriane Dermo-Cleanser. If your skin is still dry with the La Roche-Posay Toleraine, you don't need to rinse off as it can be used like a cleansing cream.
You should even try using cleanser just once a week. For me even using tap water is drying enough.
Is retinol safe as once in a month for full face for a teen
Safe, yes. Effective at that dose, no

@@usamasyed Thank you Doctor! Will keep on it.

First and foremost is to take Omega-3
is 7 hours enough?

My genética with deep wrinkles and huge prob with big pores just killing me whatever i do cant solve even with botox fillers and meso
How to treat acne marks
Adaplene 0.1% gel or tretinoin
I started using Adapalene gel .1% seeing your video. But i have no irritation or dryness.. i have a bit of purging but not much. Does this mean it’s not working?
Nope! Adapalene causes less irritation by its composition
I totally agree…drink water..sunscreen…less is more
Drinking water does basically nothing for skin
@@usamasyed ah..interesting. I always read staying hydrated is good for skin😆
For how long would you recommend to leave on a salicylic acid cleanser?
30-60 seconds depending how sensitive your skin is!
@@usamasyed thanks doc!
How long do I leave on benzoyl peroxide cleaner?
30-60 seconds!
@@usamasyed you are the Best!
Thank you kindly beautiful soul 😘❤️
I don't use rinse off cleansers with actives. Makes no sense to me.
They have a place when used correctly
Easy to blame genetics and not lifestyle choices: eating processed and junk food, bad sleep, inactivity, being overweight, no sunlight exposure etc
100%. Yet if you got special needs you gotta go (add) for special products.
Thanks! Though, I went to the Dermatologist yesterday and the response to all my problems was genetics and there's no solution to that! Well, then...? Ok 👌 😎🆒
So no hacks then. Just using things how they were designed.
the greatest hack of all
❤
