I don't know if this is healthy or not but lets check the ingredients and compare. It is possible the same or similar glue is marketed in 2 different bottles to be sold for different uses. A good example is Crazy Glue and many nail glues.
I am a professional lash technician/ cosmetologist. This is NOT SAFE FOR YOUR EYES!! You are teaching people something that can potentially be harmful and cause blindness! You should NOT be speaking on this!
TheSimQueenE, Your credentials do carry some weight, but It would be nice if you could explain to us the reasons why you hold this opinion (it isn't safe). Right now, it just sounds like you are repeating something you were taught.
Well number 1 it’s HAIR GLUE meaning it’s for your hair and not eye safe at all and should be anywhere near your face you lash hair and the hair on you head are two different types of hair with two different growth patterns. You should only use things that are designated for your face on your face
@@CrystalClues Hi Crystal! It's been awhile now and I realized some weave glue have ammonia in them. Make sure the ones you're using doesn't :) Not good close to your eyes.
Jenny C ahh thanks for the heads up! TBH, I am no chemist but so far I haven’t had any problems. It tends to ball up easily and is super easy to remove and dries fast so I keep using it 😅
I was lucky enough to have tried this method very early on in the beginning of my lashing days. This was many years ago. I found this video because out of curiosity I wanted to see if there was anyone out there to convince me that there is a better adhesive to use even as well as it works we are always looking for better easier beauty products right.... so I'm happy to have discovered someone that feels the same way about eyelash adhesive!!
C B Some people are allergic to latex which could cause some issues, but if you’re not allergic to latex then this should work fine. I personally prefer actual eyelash glue because it’s hard to clean the weave glue off at times and sometimes the lash is hard to take off.
@@scexual-5883 I'm not talking about the latex though - i'm talking about the other chemicals in a wig or weave glue that could be potentially harmful around the eyeball
Indivisual and extension Eyelash glue is actually more harsh. It has a very strong chemical smell and it dries really hard. Strip lash glue is pretty much the same as hair weave glue.
I just read that it is not recommended because of the ammonia content. You will likely lose more lashes, unfortunately. Tempting, but I probably wouldn't. Instead, I found Super Strong Hold by Kiss ienvy in black, that lasts just as long. And its waterproof.
This were the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. My beautician used it and my eyes got invected red. I looked stoned. we used it on singles. NEVER AGAIN. I COULD HARDLY SEE DRIVING HOME.
Why is this so funny I know cuz it ignores the fact that you did not give credit to the black girl you stole this secret from also we used it so much for years that we actually now have the same exact glue made for us, women of color, that is made for eyelashes. You should go get a bottle of that and please don’t go all Christopher Columbus on us again Thanks 😊
I don't understand how one can jump to "a lot of Black women". Of my friends, 4 are Black women, and not a single one of us attaches weaves to our heads...or wears weaves at all. Also, in 2019, aren't women of all colors wearing fake hair...and fake eyelashes?
Hi Delise - thank you for bringing this up. I reflected on your feedback and you’re right. I spoke generally and there probably wasn’t any need to specific the ethnic group. Just so you know where I was coming from, I lean towards naturally wanting to give credit where credit’s due. I heard about this from members of that community and I’m thankful it was shared with me. In the future I’ll be much more careful with my wording. Thanks for picking up on that and for taking the time to comment.
As a black woman I haven't known any non blacks to use that glue for their weaves. Non black women don't get weave applied the same way due to hair texture. Some are being too ridiculous with calling her a racist🙄.
I have gone into the pool with lashes on using this glue and they’ve stayed in place. But I made sure to use extra glue, and with bigger globs at either ends to really reinforce them.
Wow ur statement in this video are very racist not all black womenswear glue in hair nor wave for that matter!! I thought this was a joke very offensive

I was starting to worry if I would ever be able to find a glue that works. Yay.
I used the glue it’s great 👍🏽💯💋😍
Pls read the comments. It’s not safe
is it safe to use around your eyes, though? I would imagine than specific eyelash glue is tested to be safe around eyes

Legit what I've used for years. Put my friend on too lol. Never have an issue lol 😆
Is it waterproof? Like when I cry at church will my lashes come off?
Does it make your eyes tear ? I want to sleep in them

@@CrystalClues Can you use this on cluster lashes similar to lashify? Thanks!! Love your videos! 😃👍🏼
Hi Crystal, this is an awesome review & your lashes look great! 🤩
Is it waterproof?
Old trick been using for years yes it works
Can you use this on cluster lashes similar to lashify?
HI CRYSTAL I WAS JUST WONDERING HOW LONG THE GLUE LASTS DO YOU USE IT FOR THE DAY OR A WEEK OR LONGER THANKS FOR THE INFO
Lol that is exactly the kind I have and exactly the reason I came here to see if I can use it. Thanks!
Do not use if u have ammonia or latex allergies
If it peels off so easily how is it the best
Because it doesn’t rip off your real lashes while the initial “stick” is strong
I always heard this glue can effect your sight
This makes my eyes red and hurt really bad
Does this make your eyes burn or cause reddening?
If u allergic to latex be careful
Can you use these for clusters
As a lash stylist just buy lash glue. It’s all about your lash health!! There’s so many lash glues available
Regular lash glue is harsher than this.
This comes right off. Lash glue doesn't
Thanks for the video ❤
