- In this video I use the AUG in EVERY Call of Duty that it's been in! It was first introduced into Modern Warfare 2 as an LMG then in Black Ops as an assault rifle, next in Black Ops 4 as a tactical rifle called the ABR, then finally into Modern Warfare as an SMG! Ghosts, here’s a handy tip. You can make the AUG in Modern Warfare into the AUG A3 using the longest barrel option, 5.56 NATO conversion, and the Integral 3x optic.

The one in modern warfare is the AUG A3 para which is basically a shortened version of the AUG A3 (the rifle version)

For me the MW2019 Aug. You could customize it any way you want. Smg, lmg, AR in the gunsmith. And the gun was pretty good in MP. One of my favourites in the entire game.

its like that in real life as well. the SMG version in MW is a 9mm conversion kit. the LMG version is just an AUG with a bigger magazine and a longer heavier barrel and with a carry handle.
The Aug in mw can be converted to the lmg and ar versions

Hey ghosts just so you know... when you got killed "through the wall" by the vtol. That upper catwalk actually has large openings in the ceiling that streaks and nades can go through

Bo1 hands down my absolute favorite cod. Ascension zombies on Bo1 is the bomb then when they brought the WAW zombies on the last dlc to Bo1 that sealed it up even more for me an the multiplayer dlc’s too are so good in this game

EVOLUTION OF THE PP90/PP19.
The reason why it's type changes in every cod? Just the name already answers that: "Armee-Universal-Gewehr" which translates to the "Army's Universal Rifle" it has this name because it has the capacity of full-fill lots of roles (Assault Rifle, SMG, LMG, Carbine and Sub-carbine) so like in MW you can use this gun for anything, besides extreme long range engagement, that's the snipers job.

I think it’s cool that the AUG can convert into the assault rifle variant but they should add the bipod/side grip for the full LMG HBAR build.

The aug in mw2 is so underrated. It's an assault rifle in a lmgs body. All you need to do is run sleight of hand pro and easy nuke

In MW2/BO1/BO4, it should be in the Assault Rifle class since the caliber is bigger, in MW2019, it is an SMG since the mag and calibration is 9mm
For Me it's the Aug HBAR Hands down such a classic weapon
