Pffft it was sad to see Thanos nerfed beyond recognition in order to raise up SJW wokeness. Thanos is a universal threat a single team would not be able to stop him even without the stones. They also nerfed Thor just so they could claim women characters are stronger. Thanos one hands Captain Marvel in her strongest form and even Thor is no match for him. But in order to give the good guys so far released in the MCU a snowballs of a chance against Thanos they took away like 80% of his power. His base ability is he is a energy absorber he absorbs cosmic energy from space at all times. He also is a energy manipulator able to channel, absorb, and release insane amounts of energy in the form a energy blast you never once see him use. He is the avatar of Death he cannot die because Death herself barred him from her realm. The Living Tribunal does not interfere with Thanos because he sees him as part of the universe constant making him a abstract just like Death,Infinity,Eternity...etc. So in closing Wanda and/or CM couldn't scratch the skin on Thanos's left nutsack. Endgame was the last of the Great MCU movies and the start of the M-She-U. We got a Dr.Strange movie where Strange played second fiddle to Wanda next is Thor:Love and Thunder (great title) where Thor will only be there as a joke in order to raise up another woke character.

I don't even know that they talked. I think Bucky just knew, and Steve knew that he would know. It's the discerning of those underlying fundamental assumptions that even they might not consciously be aware of that's the hard part.
In figuring out those foundations, it helps to remember that, while words can lie (even if they aren't meant to), actions tend to do so less often.

That “cheeseburgers” line… hit me like a brick wall in the theater. During the funeral and the subsequent scenes before it, I felt as if my heart was being carpet bombed with emotions. “I am Iron Man” “You can rest now” “I love you 3000”. The entire time I can feel that emotion pushing me to the breaking point, but some how I’m still holding it in.
And then as the camera zooms out during the funeral I’m thinking about the first Iron Man movie. When we first saw Stark. When he got back home and asked for only two things a conference and cheeseburgers. Then Happy asks Morgan if she wants anything. In my head I was thinking: “Don’t you say it…”. As for Tony its fitting he made the sacrifice play he started his journey as an arrogant prick but gave his life knowing he had so much to lose. As for Cap’s ending its fitting I don’t like how he went back in time it feels as he abandoned his friends to pick up the pieces of their lives while he ran away but on the flip side it makes sense he fought for others for almost a century and now finally the warrior can rest.

Elizabeth Olsen's delivery on those lines was just phenomenal. She's such a talented actor who can elevate even somewhat stock, sideline parts (specifically thinking of her performance in 2014's "Godzilla").
Speaking of our big scaly friend, if you haven't seen it, could a reaction to "Shin Godzilla" be a possibility? It is so much better than it has any right to be. I think it may even have surpassed the original, and I'd honestly put it up against almost any recent film, in terms of quality. It is in Japanese, but the English dub that's available is pretty much word-for-word the Japanese script anyway.

That was always something that bugged me about the (ongoing, 40-year-old) conservative moral panic around participation trophies and that sort of thing. I mean, first, their bad-faith complaints never made sense at all, as you can reward participation in addition to having competitive rewards, as opposed to in place of same, but moreover, on what fucking planet would people who really believed in the "rugged individualism" and "entrepreneurial spirit" they lyingly lay claim to want to send the message that trying isn't admirable in and of itself?

Many opinions about this movie but everyone would agree that it was EPIC. You can't compare it to anything that ever hit the movie theaters because this culmination was orchestrated along the way with every individual movie and character arc leading up to this. Everyone who watched all or most of the movies, whether they were Marvel fans or just loved the stories and action, knew the heroes, their stories and this universe. So it was everything to a lot of people including myself. There is no movie in my mind that is better and I doubt any in the future will be able to touch it. Even if there was an Epic level future MCU movie, say with the X-Men or even a DC one (hard to imagine though...) Infinity War/End Game was the FIRST and set the standard. Finally I believe Tony Stark's "intelligence" lives somewhere (look at Arnim Zola). No one with that intellect level would let themselves "die."

it wasn't that great as a single movie PoV, the movie was great because of the leadup & culmination of 17 odd movies before it. In fact, very few MCU movies (except Winter Soldier, IW,etc) on its own can contend for the best comic book movie, let alone one of the best movies of all time. Don't know how you arrived at that conclusion lol.

I can't confirm it but I was told that if the helmet was still functional in Tony's suit he would've lived.

If he be worthy shall possess the power of Thor. If he can pick up the hammer Cap is capable of having Thor’s power.

My biggest takeaway from endgame, walking out of the theater i said "they just brushed over creating a fountain of youth, why not throw old cap in the machine, de-age to 35ish, send his ass back to work.

Since thanos is a part eternal and part deviant, killing him isn't so easy, even if the big 3 went toe to toe with him, they'll still loose.

I saw this on opening night. Cap is my favorite, so seeing him wield Thor's hammer against Thanos was a big highlight for me. And that portals scene brought so much meaning to me. When Cap said, "Avengers...", I was like, "Say it! Say it!" and then, "assemble." My friend told me I was the first to rise from my seat and cheer loudly. Rather than telling me to shut up, everyone else in the theater followed me and cheered. Best damn theater experience of my life.

You can add Chris Pine to your list of Marvel Chris actors. He voiced Peter Parker in "Spider-Man: Into the Multiverse" which spotlighted Miles Morales. And don't feel bad about your tears: I've watched this at least 20 times, and I tear up every single time.

Whatbthey ment by that is that there was a group of very vocal people who were against the movie. For a very stupid reason. But the boxoffice shows other wise. I saw it 4 times in theaters myself

about the snapping back: people that died because f.e. the pilot got snapped - they stay dead. Hulk was smart enough to wish for a safe way back, so all the people came back to a safe place, so noone re-appeared mid-air or in the middle of the ocean ;)

You know, I'm sad for Thor because he was so depressed and he was in so much emotional stuff and non of his friends came for him and when they finely came that was because they needed him for something and they kept bullying him......

I really feel bad for Thor. In the spam of a few years (which was nothing for someone who had live 1500 years) he lost his mother, his father, all of his friends, his hammer, his eye, half of his people and his brother, and then he became a joke for everyone else. That's why I loved seeing him so happy for still being worthy of Mjolnir.

I like how the way the other characters interact with Thor are different ways people actually act around people who have depression. Hulk attempts to emphasize with Thor and remind him that he has done good already. Steve makes sure that he is included in the briefing on the stones. On Asgard, Rocket tries tough love, and appealing to Thor's sense of duty. Tony tries to prevent him from harming himself when he offers to do the Snap. And Rhodey uses the classic Military tactic of making particularly offensive jokes about the situation.
I personally don't like all the hate Rhodey gets for his cheese whiz joke. That's exactly the kind of jokes that my Army buddies and I make when my depression gets real bad.
