Navarro stands 15.3 hh, he has a compact and athletic build. Has excellent feet and straight, blemish-free legs. He is a gorgeous light bay colour which has a copper sheen in the summer.
Before coming in to my program, Navarro was professionally started, then exposed to some trail and mountain riding with his current owner (amateur but not novice), as well as Working Equitation obstacles and lessons. He has been hauled and attended a week-long CNC camp (working equitation event with obstacles and dressage components), in which he was ridden by his owner.
Navarro is athletic, smart, and willing to learn. He has a big personality and took a bit of time to connect with me. Once he did, he’s been trusting, accepting, and good to work with. Most of his training has been focused in working equitation and dressage, however, I started him over fences and he’s showing potential in this direction as well. Free-jumped to 1.10m with room to spare. He has 3 lovely quality gaits - a big walk, lofty but comfortable trot, and balanced canter.
Navarro is an athletic prospect with potential for upper level working EQ, jumping, dressage, 3-day eventing, and perhaps many other disciplines. He will excel with an experienced amateur or a professional looking for a competitive mount.
