I had a burgundy color 76 exactly like this with the additions I've described. It was perfect.

Y'all come back Saloon - great place back in the days (90's) was a nice watering hole on old hwy 50 in Mount City, NV....
The owner at that time was a great guy, his daughter was a heart breaker 😉.

I bought a brand new 1979 chevy van ,customized it put over 400 thousand miles on it ,sold it a few years ago like a fool,regretted it ever since,your van is perfect like mine was to me ,I sure regret ever selling it I still have my trucking magazines,and the one your van is in..I remember your van from years ago it's one of only 2 I ever seen with barrel seats,the other one the seats were in the back not front seats.

Cool 76 chevy. Can't find any in Canada to buy untouched. Been looking for 3 yrs, my folks had a 78 ,79... man what i would do to have that red 79 , my grampa was a carpenter and did the camper conversion. My dad sold it to my sister in 1987 and they beat it up, and was sent to the junkyard in 1990. What a shame.

Howdy fellow van fans. I need information. Im looking at a 76 g20 shorty cargo and it needs a gas tank. I cant find much to go on for the 76 and earlier vans. Can you use the 77 and newer tanks? Should I just get a fuel cell? Thanks folks.
