Honestly I fully bought Obi Wan aging 10 years between episodes 1 and 2. For the longest time when I was a kid I fully thought they used two different actors for Obi Wan across the two movies tbh, didn’t even realize it was the same actor due to the beard and hair change. Obviously as an adult it’s much more clear that it’s the same actor but, it still feels like the 10 years of aging for the character actually happened. Padme however I can argue doesn’t feel like she aged, but Obi Wan absolutely did

Easier to "hear" a ship fly by to the left or incoming fire than to have to check monitors to know what's going on. So as the audience, we're hearing what's being broadcast inside of ships.
Honestly, the only character not aging that stood out to me was Padme. The others were already adults and once you reach a certain age, you don't visibly change as much for a while. However, Padme was only fourteen in Episode 1 and teenagers can change a lot in a few years so the fact that she looked the same after ten years is kind of silly. You could argue that she tried to make herself look more mature when she was queen, but make up can only do so much. Natalie Portman did a great job with the character though, and I can't imagine anyone else doing the role justice!
Why do we assume that people from Naboo or from whatever planet Kenobi is from originally age at the same rate as Earth humans or show their age as we do? Just because they look humanoid on the outside doesn't mean their biology isn't different.

It's possible humans on one planet would live longer then humans on another planet. That being said... EVERY human being I've ever grown up with looks pretty much the same between 14 and 24. People don't drastically change during that period of time save maybe weight, physique, height , etc. In fact, most of my childhood friends look the same as they did when we were kids.
Ok, lets not forget return of the jedi happens on the incomplete death star 2. One would assume the throne room, as the most ornate and non-essential room on the station, would be the very last thing to be completed. That was not the real throne room, just an open space with a swivel chair.
Since a light sabre can only be used safely by a Jedi and everyone else is in constant danger of chopping off their own limbs, and Jedi can force manipulate objects, the activation button is either arbitrary or not needed to be physically pushed at all ...
The second Death Star was operational but not complete. Maybe they had every intention of closing off direct access to the shaft from the throne room, but getting the station operational was the bigger priority.

Even the most out there sci fi or fantasy at least sticks to the BASICS of physics and if they stray away from the basics they usually make some kind of explination for it. Obi-wan's lack of aging between I and II isn't something I'd ever thought of as bizarre. Lot's of people really don't look that different between their mid 20s and mid 30s. The bizarre thing about Obi-wan's age and appearance is the opposite. He's only supposed to have aged 19 years between being Ewan McGregor in III and Alec Guinness in IV. It's even worse given the Disney Plus series that takes place right in the middle, just 9 or so years before IV. Canonically, Obi-wan was only 57 in IV while Guinness was 62, and frankly, looked a bit older.
I mean.. Yoda is the head of the council and as such the spokesman of them.. Its widely believed Mace Windu was his follow-up and thats why he was also allowed to voice his opinion. Anakin has had 2 lightsabers. One before and one after Geonosis.. they both ignite differently
I always took the noisy explosions as what it sounded like to the people inside the ships, not what an observer would hear, which is nothing. In The Last Jedi, when Vice Admiral Holdo rams the pursuing ship at hyper speed, the seconds of absolute silence were deafening. The explosions were the result of the vehicles' energy source exploding. They carry their own propulsion and oxygen. If it all gets mixed together at once, well, BOOM! As for the other stuff mentioned, even if I did notice it, I threw it off as "well it's science fantasy, not science fiction." Star Trek is also science fantasy, but at least they always try to throw in some Treknobabble to try to explain it, which is entertaining all by itself. My favorite was the Heisenberg Compensators mentioned in the TNG episode "Relics".
Palpatine, in my mind, had the reactor shaft in his throne room for intimidation, and also to rid himself of problems (often by having Vader toss them in). He truly fell victim to his own machinations.
The images are somewhat different from the story. July is said to be the only human, but in one image there's an all human class, the wolverine is from X-men. And why is there fire and smoke in the foreground? Is the classroom on fire?

Have you seen Ralph Macchio from The Karate Kid? Dude looks almost exactly the same now in his 60's that he did in his 30s. It always sounds ridiculous when someone says "The don't look that old" like there's "a look" to every age. Obi Wan was also a Jedi, maybe the light side of the force makes you look young like the dark side makes you look deformed or something. Hell... Qui Gon Jin was suppose to be in his 60s in Phantom Menace... Age is not a thing so easily seen in the face.
The trench run in Ep 4 tactically makes no sense, why not go in directly from space and shoot a dozen torpedoes instead of endlessly running through a heavily armed trench, and getting shot down one by one before even arrivng at target...? Its like with the those Eagles in LOTR i guess... ...NB: The Jedi with the long neck in Ep 1.

Why do people keep trying to apply things like logic and real science to Star Wars? George Lucas never prioritized those things in the original trilogy. Why should the new filmmakers making Star Wars projects now do it any differently? It's about the thrills we get watching it, not intellectual logic. So, either enjoy the ride or don't. Theres no need to nitpick so much with a franchise that isn't supposed to "make sense." And to all those that would disagree with me that the original trilogy threw logic (even within it's own Universe's rules) out the window, I present my "Exhibit A" in this case. In "The Empire Strikes Back" (which is STILL the greatest Star Wars movie of them all, and likely will always remain so...) it was CLEARLY established that the Millennium Falcon's only means of faster than light travel, its hyperdrive, was damaged beyond repair (barring outside assistance) either before or during the escape from the Hoth System. And yet, the ship was still able to make it to Bespin on sublight engines alone. And it is also clear that in this story Bespin was not in the same system because the characters on the Falcon were openly considering their options, and naming other systems (literally using the word "system" at least once to do so), before Bespin was even mentioned and decided upon as their destination. The spaces between star systems in galaxies are measured in lightyears and parsecs. Logically, there is no way the Millenium Falcon could have made it from one system to another on sublight engines alone while its biological occupants were even still alive, let alone with them not even seeming to age significantly at all. So, again, I say either shut up and enjoy the ride, or don't enjoy it and just stop with the endlessly unneccessary nitpicking if you don't. Star Wars has always been nothing more than obviously flawed escapism. Just let it continue to be what it is.
The so called throne room in the Death Star was not actually his throne room. The rebels blew up the first Death Star so why would he want to stay there. Also you see him arrive on the DS so that should be an indicator that it wasn't a throne room

The trench run in Ep 4 tactically makes no sense, why not go in directly from space and shoot a dozen torpedoes instead of endlessly running through a heavily armed trench, and getting shot down one by one before even arrivng at target...? Its like with the those Eagles in LOTR i guess...

Star Wars, in general, is full of egregious Space OSHA violations so an open reactor shaft in the throne room is really not surprising.

I think they have some sort of internal gravity system, otherwise everyone on the ships would just be floating around when they're in space

Episodes 7, 8, and 9 are the Thrawn trilogy which haven't been adapted to film yet. Sadly, we'll never get that sequel trilogy with the original cast because they're too old to portray the characters only five years after Episode 6 and saddest of all: Carrie Fisher has passed away. RIP the last daughter of Alderaan.

Why do people keep trying to apply things like logic and real science to Star Wars? George Lucas never prioritized those things in the original trilogy. Why should the new filmmakers making Star Wars projects now do it any differently? It's about the thrills we get watching it, not intellectual logic. So, either enjoy the ride or don't. Theres no need to nitpick so much with a franchise that isn't supposed to "make sense."
And to all those that would disagree with me that the original trilogy threw logic (even within it's own Universe's rules) out the window, I present my "Exhibit A" in this case. In "The Empire Strikes Back" (which is STILL the greatest Star Wars movie of them all, and likely will always remain so...) it was CLEARLY established that the Millennium Falcon's only means of faster than light travel, its hyperdrive, was damaged beyond repair (barring outside assistance) either before or during the escape from the Hoth System. And yet, the ship was still able to make it to Bespin on sublight engines alone. And it is also clear that in this story Bespin was not in the same system because the characters on the Falcon were openly considering their options, and naming other systems (literally using the word "system" at least once to do so), before Bespin was even mentioned and decided upon as their destination. The spaces between star systems in galaxies are measured in lightyears and parsecs. Logically, there is no way the Millenium Falcon could have made it from one system to another on sublight engines alone while its biological occupants were even still alive, let alone with them not even seeming to age significantly at all. So, again, I say either shut up and enjoy the ride, or don't enjoy it and just stop with the endlessly unneccessary nitpicking if you don't. Star Wars has always been nothing more than obviously flawed escapism. Just let it continue to be what it is.
The emperors throne -room makes no sense. The outside does not match the inside layout
The so called throne room in the Death Star was not actually his throne room. The rebels blew up the first Death Star so why would he want to stay there. Also you see him arrive on the DS so that should be an indicator that it wasn't a throne room
It's not his only throne room, but it's one of them. It's called his throne room quite consistently in SW media.
Toxic Star Wars fans forgetting the other "SOMEHOW"s that happened:
-somehow Luke landed in Yoda's front yard.
-somehow R2D2 made it down the stairs in EP 4 at docking bay 94.
-somehow the Ewoks had a tailored dress for Leia.

The only one of these I even briefly thought about out was the sound in space one and it never bothered me.
You don’t watch Star Wars for the realism (or the dialogue……or acting).
