The fact Nazeeh mentioned that he and Ben had to redo the Alhaitham and Kaveh interactions...LOL. They're already TEEMING with endlessly-bickering married couple energy, I can't imagine just HOW "implicating" it was on that first read-through. It seems like there are several Genshin VA's who've mentioned they'd want to go back with hindsight and deliver certain lines differently...I wish the voice directors and schedule would allow them to do so more often!
Also, poor Zach, though. Glad his voice has since healed!

Tbh, that's what happens sometimes, lol. I went to a con last year that had a vendor invite VAs from across the border, and the convention announced a panel on the last day just hours before it happened...
@@bluchismoon woah..i never goes to con so idk it happened..i always assume all of it is organised, mainly because id assume they would plan out topics on what to talk about
@@yuki97kira Most of the time, panels are planned well in advance (I'm talking months) and the Moderator of the panel (con staff) will start off with some basic intros, some warm-up questions about general career stuff/the topic of the panel (usually what the person is currently most well-known for), and then segue into fans asking questions for all of the remaining time. Spur-of-the-moment schedule additions do happen though, I've seen it several times where, like, the panel that was scheduled to happen was super full so they added another one, or they just so happened to invite someone last-minute that fits in with someone else so they quickly cobble together a panel for them, etc. etc.
@@Shippou011 Honestly? The unplanned/unmoderated panels are usually the best. No offense to Con Staff/Guest Mods, but, more often than not, the Mod doesn't know what the Hell they're doing and sound like they're going off a script written by generic media shills (because usually they are). The Guests, generally, know more about themselves, their work, the topic of the panel, and their fans than the Moderator. It's like, "The people in the room know who we are, what we do, and what we have done. All they want to do is talk to us so uh... screw the self-promotion. Let's talk."
@@ForeverDegenerate Yeah I agree - there are a few rare moderators I've seen that truly make the beginning portion of the panels more fun. I think the only thing the basic moderators provide that makes things better is they cut off the "can you do XYZ that was specifically stated was not allowed to be asked for" people. And even then there's been less of that in recent years 🙄

Nazeeh is such a sweetheart. His character is the most self centered character there is in Genshin with zero ounces of any kind of empathy in his voice but his VA is all giggly and just happy to be there. Its so nice to see.
Self-centered and zero ounces of empathy doesn't seem like Alhaitham at all. Sure, on the surface he seems to be, but the multitude of things he does for his closest friends really proves this idea to be misleading. Most of what he says that seems selfish can be proven wrong, especially when it involves Kaveh.
@@mcihay246Theres lots of layers to al haitham and I wasnt going to type it all out in that comment to get to what I was actually tryna say. I agree, hes actually a really good person and very empathic ESPECIALLY towards Kaveh. Its often times just very convoluted and layered what he does and says. Hes just arrogant and pretty much plays 5D chess all of the time. But from the outside he seems (and sounds) indifferent and arrogant. I agree though, i couldve worded that better, since thats not really what I meant or think

i went to anime impulse solely for this panel, i have no regrets, I had such a great time! towards the end, almost half of the audience was screaming Lyneys name and desperately waving towards him so he could get the mic, and it was such a sweet moment when he did!
