From the start, it's already obvious that their relationship isn't as normal as what an ideal family have. They look like a couple that doesn't want kid but have children because society. I can't finish the video but for about half of time I don't remember the couple talked about the children's behaviour, habit, etc. It's like they're barely know each other. Only talk about game, dying, balcony -___- what are those?
I’m utterly shocked when the mother said “I’m a person too, I need my time”, you are a mother, if you still being selfish like that then you shouldn’t have children. It’s better you don’t have any children than mistreating them and leaving them behind and makes them feel lonely. This makes me so mad and what’s with that eye rolls though. Every mom you talk to will say the same actually. Though most moms I know would usually run themselves a bath and drink wine or something not play games.
That's what I'm saying. Once you are a parent, your whole attention must be on your children. Yes, she has a point that she has her own life but he gave birth to the child and the child needs attention. You don't have to just depend on what other people say, or what the counselor just bcs at the end of the day it's your child.

pfff, my mom never get up to prepare me a breakfast before school and was never concerned whether I ate something or not, she left me on the beach alone for 3 hours in the darkness and had fun in a café not worrying that anyone could kidnap me or even kill. The eldest daughter sees that the mum is not parenting well or doing what is needed, so she tries to parent her younger sister. The younger sister has not been raised well & does not respecter her elder sister so just resents her sister, too young & nieve to see she has good intentions.
The parents are 100% to blame.
The elder daughter should be proud that she has developed so well despite her parents neglectful & abusive behaviour. I hope she manages to find better people to surround herself with who respect & appreciate her, she deserves good friends.

If you rewatch the video again carefully, you can tell by the mother’s body language that she wasn’t having it. The whole time, she was just pissing me off and the other comments here mention her as well. But what made me really mad was that when she came down to hug her daughter, look at her hand. While she hugs her daughter, she’s gripping her arm tightly trying to pry her daughter off as if she’s disgusted or doesn’t even know her. WHO THE HELL KIND OF MOTHER DOES THAT?!?

I cant believe a mother would say those harsh words to her child... "If you want to know death I'll throw you off the apartment balcony" that almost made me want to cry... just because the daughter isn't tell her mom that she wants to kill herself anymore, doesnt mean the problem is solved.. it means she doesnt trust you anymore. Her telling her mom was a cry for help and her mother completely failed her. Both parents are very clueless and neither are talking responsibility.
That must be one of the worst things to say to any suicidal person. I was absolutely dumbfounded that no one on the show called out how absolutely RIDICULOUS that line was. When someone, especially a CHILD, says that they what to die, you're suppose to find out why they feel that way and try to fix the problem instead of threatening and scaring them from ever wanting to open up to you. This actually made me cry. I think their household is very toxic and it sounds like their parents are abusive. Emotionally mentally and somewhat physically. I feel bad for both girls. The eldest is traumatized and lonesome and the youngest feels lonely but is learning wrong because the parents simply don't care to help their kids work out conflicts and support them. It's sad and reminds me of my own childhood and I relate to the eldest even tho I'm the youngest. I was bullied alot by elders and my parents were never their for comfort or to support me. the older one's hair really looks way worst than messy. the way the hair cut is done, the bangs, and a big bald spot that seems like it's been ripped out of her scalp. the mom worries me a ton..

She may be a child but it doesn't mean you can't take a child's words seriously :
* "She wishes she is an only child" shows how resentful she feels toward her sibling. They may be children but this will make them grow apart if the parents don't take actions from now. Don't take side! Just because she is the older one, it doesn't mean she wants to be independent all the time. The older one will learn it naturally that she is the older one so she should take care of the younger one (just like how she tried to save the younger sister). I don't like it when parents always think "because she is the older one, she should be more independent, she should be more responsible, etc". She doesn't choose to be born as the older one. Think of both of them as children (older or younger doesn't matter). Just like the suggestion, if both fight, tell them it's wrong or yell at them the same because at the end both of them are involved in the fight so both of them will feel like they can relate to each other better.
* "She wants to die". This is serious. The mom took advice from someone I wonder who but it only makes her scared for now. If this problem escalates and she truly feels like she wants to die, who knows, when she finds 'courage' to die....I hope not. Please parents, I hope you won't take words like this lightly.
* "She feels lonely" means she feels no one on her side in the house. If this continues, it's good if she meets good people around her. What if she meets wrong people whom she thinks are on her side? I hope not. Lots of love for her, please. See how tight she tries to hug them and how happy she looks like when she smiles

Please stop with that logic that a 12 year old won’t think about suicide. Sometimes a person doesn’t want to live anymore because life becomes pointless and believe me a lonely kid will find a hard time attaching to others and forming relationships in the future. As for suicide just saying usually someone who commits suicide suffers from mental or physical trauma that had lasted for a very long time usually from an early age- that’s why people who have been abused commit suicide or deeply depressed and stressed people do. Time to educate yourself I guess.
