We hope you are all doing well! We are all doing good. You guys have probably seen the most recent update on the go fund me page about Yulian. He is no longer on the feeding tube, or currently under treatment so he has been recovering pretty good despite the fact that the lymph nodes are still a little swollen. Little Aria is getting bigger and bigger each day and talking a lot so we have just been enjoying each day to the fullest as best as we can. In May, Yulian has another PET scan which we are hoping to get the news we have been waiting for! We will let you guys know the details once it happens.
We also wanted to let you guys know about the most recent decision we have made about Alma. After much thought and a lot of back-and-forth we have decided to put her for sale. It was a hard decision but we believe it is the decision that we need to do for financial reasons. Also, we will need to stay nearby for the frequent scans Yulian will need to have to keep track on the cancer.
Alma has been a huge part of us over the years, we spent our first years of marriage rebuilding her growing closer together. We raised Aria on Alma for her first year of life. We started our Sailing dream , but unfortunately life is unexpected and things have taken a different direction now. We are planning on focusing on ourselves and see what the future will bring. We will always hold onto the wonderful memories and moments we had. We hope to find a good owner/owners who will love her as much as we do.
This decision has been a hard one, but we realize that is a necessary one. Thank you all for everything, your support throughout our journey, your kind words and encouragement. We are grateful for all of you.

Hoping you're still doing fine. I know it's been a while. You guys did an amazing job of rebuilding and fitting out your boat. Something to be proud of.
It makes me sad to see you having to let Alma go, but you can look back with pride on all that you accomplished since her purchase. As well you will have the footage of your time aboard to bring back many good and exciting memories. Have been watching your channels since you and Yulian began bringing boat parts home in the Fiat 500, but this really hits home. Best to all of you in the future and for his full recovery! Oh man, that is so hard to do! My deepest sympathy! I bought my boat from the daughter of the builder who had died. She and her Husband were heartbroken to sell, but could not take proper care of the boat with a young family and a busy life. I bought the boat on the promise to sell it back to them (at same price corrected for inflation) when I move to shore again. They have become really good friends and often sail with me. Perfect arrangement for all involved. Hope you find the same kind of deal.

If I just had the funds right now (due to Corona) I would not hesitate. A lot of love obviously went into this boat and a good sense for detail and liveability. So sorry to read what happened! While very pleased that the prognosis for Julian has improved, I also feel sad that it has come to this for your family. Through your videos, a good feeling of family values emerged. It was with pleasure that I subscribed to your channel. God willing, perhaps there will be another boat in your future, maybe not Alma, for whom there can ever be another boat that will engender the same depth of feeling you have for her but one that will safely put you back on your path of adventure. I will keep an eye out for an Alma 2 vlog, as time goes by. Please keep us informed about Julians progress. We all continue to pray for his full recovery.
