I’m going to go on a bit of a rant. I can’t believe how long and how many moments Jehiely is being told what to wear. Out of respect? For him? But it’s her body. Why should she dress to his insecurities and not to her confidence? I’m sorry but I’ve been watching you guys for a while and I love your personality Jehiely. Everytime you are made- not physically, but mentally- to put on something else because apparently it’s being respectful , it just makes me cringe. We are women, we deserve to feel empowered in our bodies. No, that doesn’t always mean revealing clothes- but it does mean wearing what we feel comfortable in, in our own skin , which can change on a day to day basis. Being supported as ourselves is a beautiful thing. Feeling safe with our spouse is a beautiful thing. I get that we need to show respect to our partner in regards to not talking to an ex or not going out for a drinks to a club alone - but taking it as far as controlling what one wears? Body shaming is such a shame. I know it’s not intentional maybe because there are things the person with the insecurity needs to work on.
