  • Sen. Bernie Sanders, who has been a key ally of President Biden, tells "Face the Nation" that while the president is "old" and "he's not as articulate as he once was," "what we have to focus on is policy - whose policies have and will benefit the vast majority of the people in this country."
"Face the Nation" is America's premier Sunday morning public affairs program. The broadcast is one of the longest-running news programs in the history of television, having debuted Nov. 7, 1954, on CBS. Every Sunday, "Face the Nation" moderator and CBS News senior foreign affairs correspondent Margaret Brennan welcomes leaders, newsmakers, and experts to a lively round table discussion of current events and the latest news.

It's probably all that running that he does. He literally walks and runs to places, at least around his area. - Biden moves like a Roomba, as a certain comedian said. - But regardless, Bernie is just really sharp and never lost it. It's a very different type of person indeed.

But apart from stimulus checks which were cleared when President Trump was in office and the 10k or 20k student loan waiver for those earning less than 75k or 80k a year I haven't seen any really reform from the Democrats who actually controlled both the Senate and House for some time. Inflation is rising, insurance premiums are high, gas prices are high. There has been no tax cut for the working class or any reconsideration on rolling back corporate tax cuts which was severely criticized by all Democrats. Donald Trump was far more pro-American working and middle class than Joe Biden. The Democrats have done nothing for the common public.
Even today Democrats have nothing to fight the election on than their vicious and unsubstantiated attacks on Donald Trump when he is far fitter and seems both mentally and physically fit. The United States during the years we now refer to as 'The Greatest Generation", was the most socialist nation in the world, and the most admired. What we are experiencing now is 80 years of Capitalistic intrusion, starting on the day of FDR's death has been an unrelenting attack on working men and women, planned division of the nation along racial, religious, and class distinctions, as well as an unjust application of tax laws, attacks on our safety nets and our constitution. Throughout history Capitalism through its many disguises such as colonialism, industrialism, libertarianism, and free market theory, has consistently eaten its own.
