    While the Normatec 3 doesn’t add anything extremely innovative or new compared with the previous model, the improvements are actually more significant than I had assumed.
    Especially with the new levels of customization available, that was previously only available on the much more expensive pro models.
    All of the little improvements here really add up to make the Normatec 3 better than ever. Watch the video to get more in-depth info on what has been improved.

    Great review. The 3.0 app really looks like the big change. Great review, thank you.

    Thanks for the review, the features on the App look great, I'd almost thought that the new control unit was a downgrade.

    I was disappointed that I couldn't turn off zone 1 as the customization limits turning off to begin with zone 5, which is actually the zone that I want the highest pressure, which I can't do without beating my foot to a pulp. Fortunately, I found the hip attachment to focus on zone 5, which is my quads, hamstring, and a bonus, my glutes. It must be a design with all compression, which allows zone 1 to be more pressure than zone 5, as I had this same issue with others.

    Could you please outline what settings are best for lymphatic drainage - moving the fluid from foot to thigh? I like the thigh compression, but only when the calf and foot are also compressed. Otherwise, it's very uncomfortable and counter-productive.

    The one thing you arent aware of when you buy Normatec 8n Australia is after sales service. I bought a pair of compression boots for my daughter. They lasted 15 months before the unit failed. Perhaps because I also bought 2 units for my football club and the arm, hip attachments, the smart roller and the carry bag for my daughter, Hyperice honoured a 12 month warranty with a replacement device. When that device failed after 6 months, they let me know they do not repair these devices, that isnt part of the sales speil, nor do they assist in someone else repairing the device. My only option is to purchase a new unit at a reduced price. In theory you could have a $1500 device fail after 13 months and your only option is to buy a new one. I have called other manufacturers and they all repair failed devices. Be very careful. They offer no help at all. Possibly a $100 power supply failure will cost you upwards of $600 a time when anything goes wrong.

      @@quazimoto5241 my only recommendation is dont buy normatec unless you want to hold your breath every time you turn it on after the warranty is over. I will be getting some from the recovery project next time. They sounded like they thought I was mad when I asked if they repair their products.

    My zippers on the normatec 2's sometimes end up pressing really hard against my shins or knees. I assume the normatec 3 legs have the same zipper design?

    Did you have to pre-charge it or do anything special to get it to power on?? I just got my 3's, and right out of the box, plugged in, can't get it to power on at all.

    • @ConnectTheWatts
      @ConnectTheWatts  Před rokem

      not it came with quite a bit of charge already on it. I would contact the company Hyperice if you've tried to charge it and it isn't working.

    So I tried the Normatec 3, but I question the whole concept of compression boots. You feel the same way after a session as before, I was biking for 5 hours, was really drained, hoping to get some relief. But no difference, well then I was hoping maybe at least it feels like a massage, but also not really. It's just compressing, doesn't feel like a massage either. I got it at Best Buy and returned it a week later. That was a waste energy and time.

    Seem everyone just use this for the leg. no one are sharing the arm or hips attachment. Should i also buy those attachment? since it will be a bit cheaper if i purchase in same time.....

    • @ConnectTheWatts
      @ConnectTheWatts  Před 2 lety +1

      I've heard great things about the hip attachment and hope to get it at some point. I haven't heard much about the arms though, as I don't think many people would utilize it nearly as often.

  • @ckwong03

    So much more difficult to disconnect the main hose from the leg sleeves in 3.0. You have to push the release button so hard. Was much easier to disconnect in version 2.0. Cheaper parts were used in 3.0 to bring down the price and it shows.

    • @ConnectTheWatts
      @ConnectTheWatts  Před 2 lety +2

      strange, the hose has the exact same mechanism and if anything materials seem more high quality... its interchangeable with the 2.0 tho so if you have your old hose you can use that
