Thank you Fr. Mike for a profound homily! Very important, powerful connections and reminders today with the Transfiguration of Jesus, be not afraid, take up our cross, our very mortality, glory, eternity and more: all impacting how we lead our lives. We need to put Christ at the center of our lives, all the time. Not an easy thing to do. We need to remember heaven is our home, our goal.
May God bless, keep, and inspire all deacons, priests, bishops, and all God's children. May Mama Mary be with all of us, guide us to the Holy Trinity. May God keep Fr. Mike in His tender loving care, bless and guide him in life and ministry.

THE GOSPEL OF THE WORD OF ALMIGHTY GOD "the last age in which God saves man from the destruction of this old world"
(If you don't want to understand or know about God's disposition or His spirit, if you don't even want to think about or focus on these things, I can tell you with certainty that the way you are currently pursuing your faith in God you will never be able to please His will or gain His praise. Beyond that, you will never truly attain salvation--these are the final consequences. Once they understand God they will understand that them and value what is in His heart with interest and faith. When you understand and value what is in God's heart, your heart will slowly, gradually open to Him. When your heart is truly open to God you will see that His heart is like an eternal world, and you will enter a kingdom that you have never experienced before. In this kingdom there is no deceit, no deception, no darkness, and no evil. There is only sincerity and honesty; only light and nobility; only righteousness and kindness. It is full of love and care, full of mercy and tolerance and through it you will feel the happiness and joy of being alive. These are the things He will reveal to you when you open your heart to God. So understanding God's disposition and what He is and what He is, is a lifelong lesson to every person, and it is a lifelong goal that every single person strives to change their disposition. , and trying to know God.)

It WILL MAKE YOU LOVE HIM. On THAT DAY, you WILL SEE that mankind is LIVING IN A DIRTY WORLD, that the PEOPLE around you and the THINGS THAT HAPPEN IN YOUR LIFE, and BE THE ONES YOU LOVE, their LOVE for YOU, and the their SO-CALLED CARE for you or their CARE for YOU is NOT EVEN TO BE MENTIONED--GOD ONLY you LOVE, and GOD ONLY you APPRECIATE. 🤍🙏
When that DAY COMES, I BELIEVE THERE WILL BE SOME PEOPLE WHO WILL SAY: GOD'S LOVE IS SO GREAT, and HIS SPIRIT IS SO HOLY--in GOD THERE IS NO DECEPTION, NO EVIL, NO ENVY, and NO CONTROVERSY , but ONLY RIGHTEOUSNESS and RIGHTEOUSNESS, and ALL that IS and WHAT GOD is SHOULD PEOPLE ANXIOUS. ☀️
PEOPLE SHOULD STRIVE and Aspire for it. On what basis does the ability of people to achieve this stand? Is it based on people's understanding of God's disposition, and their understanding of God's spirit.
So UNDERSTANDING GOD'S DISPOSITION and WHAT THERE IS and WHAT HE IS, is a LIFETIME LESSON for every PERSON, and it is a LIFETIME GOAL THAT EVERY SINGLE PERSON STRIVES TO CHANGE THEIR DISPOSITION , and TRYING TO KNOW GOD. 💐 🙏

I've already got my pension, but there's always another ' pension' in our lives. God help me to leave it behind and follow Him.

“The Gift of Faith”-so true, it is a GIFT; explains to me why, so often, preaching to a non-believer seems unfruitful- - as a “Gift” one has to take hold of it, when given (without force) , unwrap it, cherish it. Some are not ready, or willing to accept this GIFT. But…in the future, they still may accept this free Gift based on those seeds planted in the past by the faithful.

(If you don't want to understand or know about God's disposition or His spirit, if you don't even want to think about or focus on these things, I can tell you with certainty that the way you are currently pursuing your faith in God you will never be able to please His will or gain His praise. Beyond that, you will never truly attain salvation--these are the final consequences. Once they understand God they will understand that them and value what is in His heart with interest and faith. When you understand and value what is in God's heart, your heart will slowly, gradually open to Him. When your heart is truly open to God you will see that His heart is like an eternal world, and you will enter a kingdom that you have never experienced before. In this kingdom there is no deceit, no deception, no darkness, and no evil. There is only sincerity and honesty; only light and nobility; only righteousness and kindness. It is full of love and care, full of mercy and tolerance and through it you will feel the happiness and joy of being alive. These are the things He will reveal to you when you open your heart to God. So understanding God's disposition and what He is and what He is, is a lifelong lesson to every person, and it is a lifelong goal that every single person strives to change their disposition. , and trying to know God.)

BEYOND that, you will NEVER REALLY REACH SALVATION---THESE are the FINAL CONSEQUENCES. When PEOPLE DON'T UNDERSTAND GOD and DON'T KNOW HIS DISPOSITION, their HEARTS CAN NEVER BE REALLY OPENED TO HIM. 🙏
Once they UNDERSTAND GOD, they will UNDERSTAND and APPRECIATE WHAT is in HIS HEART with INTEREST and FAITH. When you UNDERSTAND and APPRECIATE WHAT is in GOD'S HEART, your HEART will SLOWLY, GRADUALLY, OPEN to HIM. ☀️

In THIS kingdom there is NO DECEPTION, NO DECEPTION, NO DARKNESS, and NO EVIL. THERE IS ONLY SINCERENESS and LOYALTY; only LIGHT and nobility, only RIGHTEOUSNESS and BEAUTY--INSIDE. 🙏

In THAT MOMENT, you will discover that EVERYTHING ABOUT GOD IS VERY VALUABLE, that WHAT IS AND WHAT HE IS WORTH TAKE CARE OF. ☀️🙏
Compared to that, the people around you, the things and events in your life, and even your loved ones, your partner, and all the things you love, should not even be mentioned. 🙏
They are very small, and very low; you will feel that no material thing can bring you back, and they will never make you pay anything for them again.
In the LOWNESS--INSIDE of GOD you WILL SEE His GREATNESS and His LOWNESS; MORE THAN THIS, IN SOMETHING HE DID THAT YOU BELIEVE TO BE TOO SMALL, YOU WILL SEE HIS ETERNAL WISDOM and HIS FORGIVENESS, and you WILL SEE HIS PATIENCE, HIS TEMPERANCE, and HIS UNDERSTANDING of YOU. 🙏🤍
It WILL MAKE YOU LOVE HIM. On THAT DAY, you WILL SEE that mankind is LIVING IN A DIRTY WORLD, that the PEOPLE around you and the THINGS THAT HAPPEN IN YOUR LIFE, and BE THE ONES YOU LOVE, their LOVE for YOU, and the their SO-CALLED CARE for you or their CARE for YOU is NOT EVEN TO BE MENTIONED--GOD ONLY you LOVE, and GOD ONLY you APPRECIATE. 🤍🙏
When that DAY COMES, I BELIEVE THERE WILL BE SOME PEOPLE WHO WILL SAY: GOD'S LOVE IS SO GREAT, and HIS SPIRIT IS SO HOLY--in GOD THERE IS NO DECEPTION, NO EVIL, NO ENVY, and NO CONTROVERSY , but ONLY RIGHTEOUSNESS and RIGHTEOUSNESS, and ALL that IS and WHAT GOD is SHOULD PEOPLE ANXIOUS. ☀️
PEOPLE SHOULD STRIVE and Aspire for it. On what basis does the ability of people to achieve this stand? Is it based on people's understanding of God's disposition, and their understanding of God's spirit.
So UNDERSTANDING GOD'S DISPOSITION and WHAT THERE IS and WHAT HE IS, is a LIFETIME LESSON for every PERSON, and it is a LIFETIME GOAL THAT EVERY SINGLE PERSON STRIVES TO CHANGE THEIR DISPOSITION , and TRYING TO KNOW GOD. 💐 🙏

Keep them, I pray Thee, dearest Lord, keep them, for they are Thine. Thy priests whose lives burn out before Thy consecrated shrine. Keep them, for they are in the world; though from the world apart; when earthly pleasures tempt, allure, shelter them in Thy heart.
I’ve left another religion for Catholicism and left my family and home and followed Jesus Christ. I was scared and had nothing at 22 yrs old. I still have to remember now at 34 yrs and forever that this world is not home. My real home is not a home unless Jesus is living in it.

I agree with Peter, I would have said that too because I would love Jesus so much that I couldn’t stand to see him suffer like that. I think about how He died now and what He suffered and I start crying now. He had so much courage, I’m just a weak woman and I have a hard time dealing with death. I had to watch my husband die and I didn’t expect him to die at such a young age. I have Faith, I’ve been a Catholic my whole life but this is really a good sermon, one of the best. You are down to earth and you speak so clear and it is so easy to understand. But it is hard, poor Peter he had to watch his Lord Jesus suffer and die and then had to follow Him to a death on the cross. Of course Jesus knew Peter’s future so He told him he had to brave and to accept both deaths, but Jesus’s human side made Him cry, and pray to His Father to take the cup of suffering away from Him. Any human being who knew what amount of torture and death that the Father expected of Him had to be devastating and so frightening. The men that landed on the beaches at Normandy being killed the minute they tried to run up the sand and hill with death all around had to be scared so bad, I don’t know how they had the courage, again I get tearful. The sacrifice that Our Lord made for us and what the American soldiers did to stop the Nazis from all of the killing they were doing just proves how strong and brave all of those men were and my dad told me that there weren’t any atheists in foxholes. Dad wore his dog tags and his medals in the war, he made novenas to please bring him home safely from the war. My dad was at the Battle of Midway on an Aircraft carrier during WWII. He got my mom to take instructions, she joined the Church and raised her children to be Catholic like she promised. They had a good and happy marriage and just died at 94 a few years ago and mom just died at 93 a few months ago. This is really sad and I will look for your friend, the Pieta by Michelangelo is my absolute favorite because it shows how much His mother loved Him, my first church where I was baptized at was an old church in Kansas City Kansas called St Anthony’s but looks like it is now called St.Mary’s - St. Anthony’s we had a very large reproduction of the Pieta that my parent always sat in the pew right across from it and I spent a lot of time looking at it but it looks like it’s gone now, I just found pictures of the church and it’s been redone inside. It was originally named after St Anthony of Padua and it was a ethnic German parish, then welcomed Irish and now Hispanic. It has lots of pictures of Our Lady of Guadalupe now. When I was born in 1946 we had Franciscan Fathers in their brown robes, rope belts and sandals. I don’t know if they have the same order of priests in charge of this church. Sometime I would like to go see it again.
You sound like a very thoughtful and sensitive person. I too weep when I read about people’s sufferings and especially what Jesus had to go through for us sinners. When I read the book about His passion by Luisa Piccarreta I cry out loud at what they did to Him, things which we never learned about before, but He kept going, with His eyes fixed on the Cross which would set us free. What love from Him, for an ungrateful mankind.

Yes, we believe in Jesus because we have been given the gift of faith, but the gift of faith is also in line with what is rational and true evidentially. So there is no conflict between faith and reason, although, I admit ,sometimes it may seem that way, because we are weak.

Perhaps one reason why young people die, even young priests, is that in doing so they perform the essential service of reminding the rest of us In a most compelling way that we too could die at any time. Of course, if we were perfect we would not need this reminder. But also of course, we in truth are not perfect, and so we do very much need this reminder.

As with all driving on Roads, there are Speed Limits to follow. I Pray Father Mark followed exactly set Speed Limit & if 2 Cars involved, I Pray other driver followed exact Speed Limits. If not, neither were where they were meant to be on that Road. People should realise, you are ONLY where you are meant to be IF you follow Speed Limits. If you are following Speed Limits & have an accident, at least you know you were where you were meant to be. With thoughts of Father Mark, if either driver was speeding, they were NOT were they were meant to be & if they HAD followed Speed Limits, no accident would have happened. A tragic loss of a much needed Catholic Priest. A Prophetic Homily to be his last. I Pray Father Mark followed exact Speed Limits & has made either Heaven Or Purgatory. Amen
As He said: "... according to his conduct." so really, salvation is up to the individual who gets saved, and it is derived solely from the *works* man does; and that alone; as anything else messes around with free-will and man's obligations, not to mention Christ's own words of His standards of judgement.
Also, "there are some standing here who will not taste death before they see the Son of man coming in His kingdom".
And Peter James and John six days later saw Jesus coming in His kingdom

THE MESSAGE FOR AMERICA
September, 1984 Dimitru Duduman
Late one night, I could not sleep, The children were sleeping on the luggage. My wife and daughter were crying, I went outside and walked around. I didn't want them to see me cry. I walked around the building, crying and saying, "God! Why did you punish me? Why did you bring me into this country? I can't understand anybody. If I try to ask anybody anything, all I hear is, "I don't know."
I stopped in front of the apartment and sat on a large rock. Suddenly a bright light came toward me. I jumped to my feet because it looked as if a car was coming directly at me, attempting to run me down! I thought the Romanian Secret Police had tracked me to America, and now they were trying to kill me. But it wasn't a car at all. As the light approached, it surrounded me. From the light I heard the same voice that I had heard so many times in prison.
He said "Dumitru, why are you so despaired?" I said, "Why did you punish me? Why did you bring me to this country? I have nowhere to lay my head down. I can't understand anybody." He said, "Dumitru, didn't I tell you I am here with you, also? I brought you to this country because this country will burn." I said, 'then why did you bring me here to burn? Why didn't you let me die in my own country? You should have let me die in jail in Romania! He said, "Dumitru, have patience so I can tell you. Get on this." I got on something next to him. I don't know what it was. I also know that I was not asleep. It was not a dream. It was not a vision. I was awake just as I am now.
He showed me all of California and said, "This is Sodom and Gomorrah! All of this, in one day it will burn! It's sin has reached the Holy One." Then he took me to Las Vegas. "This is Sodom and Gomorrah. In one day it will burn." Then he showed me the state of New York. "Do you know what this is?" he asked. I said, "No." He said "This is New York. This is Sodom and Gomorrah! In one day it will burn." Then he showed me all of Florida, "This is Florida." he said. "This is Sodom and Gomorrah! In one day it will burn."
Then he took me back home to the rock where we had begun. "IN ONE DAY IT WILL BURN! All of this I have shown you" - I said, "How will it burn?" He said, "Remember what I am telling you, because you will go on television, on the radio and in churches. You must yell with a loud voice. Do not be afraid, because I will be with you." I said, "How will I be able to go? Who knows me here in America? I don't know anybody here." He said, "Don't worry yourself. I will go before you. I will do a lot of healing in the American churches and I will open the doors for you. But do not say anything else besides what I tell you. This country will burn!"
I said, "What will you do with the church?" He said, "I want to save the church, but the churches have forsaken me." I said, "How did they forsake you?" He said, "The people praise themselves. The honor that the people are supposed to give Jesus Christ, they take upon themselves. In the churches there are divorces. There is adultery in the churches. There are homosexuals in the churches. There is abortion in the churches and all other sins that are possible.
Because of all the sin, I have left some of the churches. You must yell in a loud voice that they must put an end to their sinning. They must turn toward the Lord. The Lord never gets tired of forgiving. They must draw close to the Lord, and live a clean life. If they have sinned until now, they must put an end to it, and start a new life as the Bible tells them to live."
I said, "How will America burn?" America is the most powerful country in this world. Why did you bring us here to burn? Why didn't you at least let us die where ALL the Dudumans have died?"
He said, "Remember this, Dumitru. The Russian spies have discovered where the nuclear warehouses are in America. When the Americans will think that it is peace and safety - from the middle of the country, some of the people will start fighting against the government. The government will be busy with internal problems. Then from the ocean, from Cuba, Nicaragua, Mexico,,.." (He told me two other countries, but I didn't remember what they were.) "...they will bomb the nuclear warehouses. When they explode, America will burn!"
"What will you do with the Church of the Lord? How will you save the ones that will turn toward you?" I asked. He said, "Tell them this: how I saved the three young ones from the furnace of fire, and how I saved Daniel in the lions den, is the same way I will save them."
The angel of the Lord also told me, "I have blessed this country because of the Jewish people who are in this country. I have seven million Jews in this country, but they do not want to recognize the Lord. They didn't want to thank God for the blessing they received in this country. Israel doesn't want to recognize Jesus Christ. They put their faith in the Jewish people in America. But, when America burns, the Lord will raise China, Japan, and other nations to go against the Russians. They will beat the Russians and push them all the way to the gates of Paris.
Over there they will make a treaty, and appoint the Russians as their leaders. They will then unite against Israel. When Israel realizes she does not have the strength of America behind her, she will be frightened. That's when she will turn to the Messiah for deliverance. That's when the Messiah will come. Then, the church will meet Jesus in the air, and he will bring them back with Him to the Mount of Olives. At that time, the battle of Armageddon will be fought."
When I heard all of this I said, "if you are truly the angel of the Lord, and everything you have told me is true, then all you have said must be written in the Bible." He said, "Tell everyone to read from Jeremiah 51:8-15, Revelation chapter 18, and Zechariah chapter 14, where Christ fights against those who possess the earth. After His victory," the angel said, "there will be one flock and one Shepherd. There will be no need for light. The Lamb of God will be the Light. There will be no sickness, no tears, and no deaths. There will only be eternal joy and God will be the ruler. There will be only one language. Only one song. And no need for a translator! ... And, Dumitru," he continued, "a word of warning. If you keep anything from the American people that you are told, I will punish you severely." "How will I know that this is for real -that it will really happen?" I asked. "As a sign that I have spoken to you, tomorrow before you wake, I will send someone to bring you a bed, and at noon I will send you a car and a bucket of honey. After which I will send someone to pay your rent." The next day someone brought Dumitru a bed, and at noon a car arrived with the bucket of honey. His rent was also paid, as God had promised him. (See chapter 10, "THROUGH THE FIRE WITHOUT BURNING.") Then the angel left.

If you believe in the immortality of the soul, you by default must believe in ghosts; and that's what those other two men are in that encounter, as they died over a full century before He was born; so Moses and Elijah must at that time have been ghosts- and this's therefore an encounter with the *dead* as once your body's dead, you are then and therefore dead.
When I was a twen, I went with an Italien pilgrimage group to mount Tabor by bus from Jerusalem. In the bus the catholic priest told us the following story:
On mount Tabor Peter said to Jesus: Let us build three huts; One for you Jesus, one for Moses and one for Elia.
Then Jesus asked Peter: And where do you go? So Peter answered: I go to the Vatican.
Sorry for this joke, but it was so funny for us in the bus, that I never forgot it anymore.
After this I walked around mount Tabor quite high on the top to be sure that I walked on the same steps as Jesus did - it was great!
(During this walk I starteled three partridges.)
I advise everybody to go to the Holy Land; once I was for one hour alone in the Holy Tomb of Jesus! Imagine!)

Adoration is alone for our Lord. You love others as He Loves you.
The rest are only doing His Will, at most in a very imperfect way. Are they saints? Consider MOTHER. Compare each day, you to HER.
Also, for anyone to override another's free-will, or mess around with consent, especially on ethical/moral/religious matters really is the ultimate in claiming Godhood; and even God Himself categorically rejected that kind of power: He didn't like the idea *at all* of playing around with anybody's free-will, and since worship is an act of the mind and will, it takes absolute mind-control to direct worship.
Given that, what the priest does at Mass is to guide and facilitate the worship: he acts as primarily a "navigator" of sorts therein; as worship is an act of the *individual*, due to it requiring freely consented mental gifting of oneself to the deity for it to be worship at all, and not an act of extreme abuse and total idolatry.
