As a Filipino I think it's taken long enough for us to ban it entirely. We all know about the dangers of gambling, but gambling on animals being forced to fight each other to the death is sickening.
And perhaps the fact that it's gambling forms a big part of why it hasn't gone away yet. It makes big money, especially for local politicians.

I think the creators of this ad are the same creators of the Pet Society ad that some of you may know through siivagunner.
And if any of you are wondering why this ad looks amateurish, it's because these were only aired on lower-budget national channels and not the most popular TV channels in the country. I even think that the visuals are an afterthought since I have a hunch that these ads were primarily made for radio, and the audio seems to belong more to local FM radio for me.
Pet Society? That Facebook game (that is no longer available) created that ad? Man, this is wild.
