Same, it doesn't matter what chapter of life, this will always be the absolute favorite, that ending verse. Before this part, but this as well, "And where crying isn't secret, it's the art of how we grieve And lessons are the key to every goal I will achieve, I will achieve" Idk if I'm learning or just crying but I still get it, if not more more
Right there with you. This song has been my favorite song for as long as I can remember. And that lyrical content... ❤️ Justin Furstenfeld thank you for so many great songs tied to so many memories. You're amazing!
I've met Justin 4 times the last time I said to him "you don't remember me do you" and he said "yea I do your name is Ben isn't it" he remembered me because I was born with a cleft pallet and his nephew was to apparently so he knew what it was and my mom told him about how I was born with that and all this other stuff about my life at this record place where they were all signing posters. I still have the album picture where they all signed it! Love this band till Im dead.
3:01... thank you for a childhood friend/neighbor, as an adult, states away, suggesting this beautiful music into my life... I hope you and your children are well 🤍
The production value of this song is off the charts: the "jazzy vibe" at the beginning, the sado-masochistic lyrics, the driving chorus, the whispers during key phrases...this song has everything! Whoever mixed this is a goddamn genius. The entire Foiled album is a genre-busting work of art: EVERY SONG has a different vibe, intelligent lyrics, superb musicianship featuring different instruments, awesome backing vocals, and the fact that Justin changes the tonal quality of his voice in EVERY SONG. Blue October is by far one of the best bands to come out in the last 15 years.
I thought they came out longer ago than that. I was pretty sure I listened to them in high school and I graduated in 2006. I could be wrong, but that only goes further in proving their timelessness and how awesome they are
I used to embarrass my daughters by singing this song at the top of my lungs with the radio maxxed out when picking them up from school...BOTH of them are addicted to Blue October. just like me...
This will always be my favorite Blue October song
Mine too
I’m tied between this one and x amount of words

BBB He really is a cool guy my brother goes to the concerts all the time and he remembers my brothers name every time they talk

I hate missing blue October this year playing with the good goo dolls
Same
I have a cleft lip and pallet. My son was born with a bilateral cleft lip and bilateral cleft pallet. My daughter had no defects.
Life can be hard. Painful. Sometimes we walk around like zombies looking for the bite that makes us happy. I wish you happy. Much love.
I never knew a heart could live inside the rust from all your rain . . .🖤
Oh yes, live long enough and everything in this song can happen. 😮

Easily their best song. This album kept me sane during my 1st rehab stint. I miss this type of music❤
Mine too, blueoctober and nf, jelly roll. And struggle Jennings
Good times, hopefully the rehab stuck, the second time.
I think When love isn't good enough is their magnum opus
