- On Friday night we got a fresh round of material from Gayle King's incredible sit-down with R. Kelly. We didn't think it was possible for this interview to get nuttier, but we were wrong. R. Kelly, in case you don't know, has been charged with 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. His career is on the line, his freedom is on the line, and so for whatever reason either R or the people who represent him thought it would be a good idea to have him do an interview on TV.

@Opinions, Facts And Logic Oh, ok sorry.... the stuff he was saying was really bizarre. He has been known in the past to scout underage girls at McDonald's. I wouldn't go anywhere near that place if I was him. Also he is not the most authentic person to be interviewed. It was clear to me it was all an act. I am not sure what he (or his management team) was trying to achieve here. He has made things worse for himself. He may have thought he would be able to gain sympathy. He shot himself in the foot when he tried to act like a pariah by standing over Gayle & pleading to the audience. That was definitely not a good look. There was no moment of contrition for what he had done it was just complete denial. I think the reason why I say he discredited himself is because things are already bad for him and this interview did not help. Gayle didn't have to do much here. He persistently blamed others and played the constant victim also making inauthentic asinine comments such as the 'M stands for mum' (LOL). It just made him look ridiculous & over the top. If he had just answered her questions calmly without the bravado and drama it may have been ok.
