I ended up getting the Subaru WRC version of the car, and it is a little terror! Swapping the NiMH battery with little 2S LiPo, it WILL do over 20 MPH... That might not seem like much compared to a larger R/C car, but for racing in a small area like a garage which is what this car was designed to do (and the reason I got it), it screams! LOL!
Very cool little RC👍 Those cars really zip around even on the NiMH pack.
Yup, wasn’t too thrilled to see a Nimh at first, but it really scoots on the pack so I changed my mind.
I'm a huge fan of the GT24 platform. I've had one for a while now. It's simple to work on and durable in my experience. It's got a crazy amount of raw power for a 1:24 scale.

They have oil shocks for the gt24 b with slight modification they fit. And the medal pinion and up the tooth count
I have a wrx beushless one and you only need 1 upgrade a 2s lipo it literally triples the speed it is so so fast you must get a 2s lipo. You think it's fast now I'm telling so much fun love it

Oh I had more than a few. Since they’re always in some sort of project mode you had to have a bunch lol. Never had an Evo, but always wanted one.
i had no idea you were in the JDM tuner scene in the 90s, you had some super nice eclipses!
I was, I entered a few HIN shows, Englishtown and a bunch more. Had about 7 DSM’s, some show, some go.

Good review . I heard they a pretty zippy with the lipo in . I like these. and have a few older Carisma 1/14 scale cars .
I've seen them available here in Canada , but like so many other RCs , it's not a simple dollar for dollar exchange rate . There's also some type of extra charges they pass on and this ends up being $260 CND with tax before shipping . Just way to much . Unfortunately ....

Its so sick to see Carisma going and going with this platform. Its sad tho that the market where i live is not common for this car, so most parts here are out of stock

How long is the battery time on these cars?
If you take the battery out of an fms atlas 6x6 it's much faster
That’s a $25 RC car and you pay $100 on top for marketing. I know because I have the same chassis on a $25 car I got in China, it just had an unlicensed body

Put a little lipo in it. The thing will really wake up.
Lovely...too bad Mitsubishi doesn't make the Lancer anymore they just make silly Outlanders(not too bad though I love my CX-5 GT better) and butchered the Eclipse into a little SUV yuck.
When I see someone driving a Lancer Evolution here in my city it's so nice to see admiring its history along with its rivalry with Subaru WRX Sti.
Better value buying a 1/10 car thats four time faster for the same price and all terrain.
