Welcome! Weâre Andre and Lisa. A married South African couple who has been traveling together for almost 20 years, to more than 50 countries. In 2017 we took stock of our life and made the decision to 'retire early'. We gave up our professional careers and all our personal possessions to explore the world as full-time nomads. Phew! You certainly packed a lot into the year.
Itâs great seeing it all in one video like this as with the individual vids you donât get the scale of the whole journey youâve been on.
We always feel like we hardly ever move and yet when we look back like this it looks like the opposite! đ But it's still super slow travel in a way.

Wow time flies is what comes to my mind when I see this video. What a lot of countries you visited, i knew that because as you know I saw every video as you visited, but to see it all summed up together is pretty impressive đ . I always travel with you, we live in the comfortable and convient country, though more north east, in a vilage. colder winters and hotter summers yes it can be 40 some days though 36 is more the norm at the moment for summer, and -10 ish in winter, wonderfull video, take care you two...

What a year of travel for you in 2023. It is great to get an overview and thoughts on your trips in one go but do really enjoy the weekly Video too. We hope to follow some of your travel routes in the near future if we manage to secure a van! Maybe 2025đ€đ€Good travels in '24.

Don't forget to grease the Back Wheel Bearings ( maybe they are Sealed ! But you can gently take off the Covers n add some Grease )

Great summary of your year. Iâm a new subscriber so Iâm busy catching up on all of your wonderful videos. Definitely approve of the campervan paint job, I hate all those over busy âgraphicsâ the manufacturers put on. Looking forward to following you this year and your Moroccan adventures. Itâs somewhere I want to visit with our caravan. When you stop on the free camping places do you think it would be possible to stay on them with a caravan? I know youâre not supposed to really but I guess if they arenât busy would anyone mind?

We can't really comment on how caravan friendly Morocco is, we've only just arrived! But from what we've heard, "wild camping" for free is being discouraged more and more in Morocco. Obviously if you have a very capable off-road vehicle then it's a different story altogether. We think we'll mostly have to be staying in "campsites" and "guardian parkings". Campsites are cheap and shouldn't be a problem for a caravan. Can't say the same about the driving though! Ask us again in 2 months time!! đ

well we are travelling though your home of Italy this year, so you will have to visit our home country. It has some amazing parts to it. My second home is Ireland and the West Coat is a must. Google The Wild Atlantic Way, it is1600 miles (2600 km) in length, one of the longest defined coastal routes in the world with stunning scenery !
