Again Marco Thanks!. You should do more of these reviews of older gamers, as a person new to gaming, but older, I find the development and historical aspect fascinating. I had a few games in my youth from Avalon Hill, but I also lived in a rural area, fellow gamers were few and many hexes apart.
I like Survival a lot. Yes, it's heavy on luck, but it's not without strategic/tactical decisions (which weapons to bring, which one to use, et al.) As you suggest, I've done some customization. I didn't like that all the animals were adversaries, so I decided that one of them (the jailat, the one that looks like a big spider) can be befriended if you let it approach to close range. On a 1, the jailat attacks at a close range, and on a 5 or 6, it runs away, but on any other roll, it befriends you. It will chase away animals smaller than it is, and fight ones its size instead of you having to fight them; the one animal that is larger than it is will make it cower and re-emerge when the fight is over, or run away. Obviously, this rule has the potential to benefit the player disproportionately, so I always use the breaking camp optional rules (meaning another possible animal encounter during the night and at the beginning of each A.M. turn).
Trying to find the sort of games but in my country I only have bookdepository. If anyone finds something like this there please share a link. I really enjoy this channel.

I love the way you review games. I always check your channel before I buy. Thank you

Best old Task Force Game to review....Intruder!
I agree. Intruder was a rare solitaire game that had actual decision making aspects along with a great theme, map and sense of excitement (even fear).
You looked more Covid before Covid :)
