I believe that the bow tried to pull the stern down with it but failed. The stern detached from the bow underwater and it came bobbing back up. While the 2 sections were pressing against each other underwater, the front of the stern was mangled and pressed in on itself. When the stern comes back up in the animation you see a large chunk come off and then sink. In reality, it would have been several chunks, but I couldn’t make that work.
@@cta0000 I have looked at the wreck and I am basing my theory off of it. The back of the bow seems mangled, and the debris field would be all of the parts from the stern that came off while the bow and the stern were pressing against each other
