What time zone? The 200 Max shows sold out.
7pm Pacific ... in about 40 minutes.
I’m camped out on the site, everything says sold out.
Using Tom’s codes we received such a generous discount above and beyond the discount they’re offering. Thank you Tom!
YAY I got the B300 combo and saved a bunch with your code. Thanks Prof! I'm buying you a coffee!
I have the ac200 and during the texas freeze last year with rolling power outages, we plugged all the internet equipment into the bluetti and my husband was able to work the entire week. I was even able use my induction cooktop and kettle. It paid for itself in a couple days. I had 5 100watt solar panels plugged into it
Impossible it's just a lithium battery set.
What did you guys do for heat during that week?
@@MrSupernova111 we had a wood burning fireplace

I saw your comment over on Will Prowse's video on trying to duplicate these results...THANK YOU for doing independent tests and collaborating on your results...this is great for consumers. WTG Hobotech! 👍
Bluetti products are awesome. I’ve been using my AC200 for a yr 24/7 and it works great. I have 15,000WH of LiFePo4 extra battery storage.
Video?
Whoa! Yes, as the other poster requested. Video please!
@@op8995 sorry I don’t post videos. I watched a bunch of Will Prowse videos and others. Ordered LiFePo4 batteries and made several 48v storage batteries. Anyone can do that. I use 6 BougeRV 180w PV panels. I have them set up so I can manually aim them at the sun. Over paneling works great for cloudy days.
@@billbradley2480 oh I see. Did you enable that battery bank to be fed to the AC200 or does it have its own charge controller and inverter? I saw another channel where a guy create a battery pack from scratch and connected it to the AC200. That is for the info.
@@op8995 I made 5 separate 48v batteries with BMS’s. I put them on carts with wheels. I wired them to plug into the solar panel plug. So when there’s no solar power coming in I plug one in. One can charge the AC200
1 1/4 times. 3000 WH each.
Incredible generator, Incredible review, can someone spot me 4K lol... I'm watching your vids on a computer and monitor being powered by the EB70 and it's working great. Running around 70 watts. Very happy with this generator. Thanks for reviewing the EB70!
That's the off grid power rig for Apocalypse....in fact, Bluetti should name that set Apocalypse ultimate hobotech power...:)
A+ work! Your getting very popular for good reason! May your channel thrive!
You make great videos for those of us who aren't to sharp when it comes to technology....
Awesome!
I'm reasonably smart but when it comes to electricity I'm a volt dolt. I just don't get it.
Hobotech, thanks for your effort in reviewing this unit! It is a promising unit. Looks better than the infamous Ecoflow delta pro. Maybe less efficienct, one advantage is that one can return it for repairs rather than sending the whole thing.
Just bought mine. 2 x AC300, 2 x B300, 1 x P030A. I will use these as 2 separate UPS' until I get a critical loads panel installed. If the grid goes down, I can recharge from the Secure Power Supply (2000 watts) of my SMA grid tie inverter through the day if the sun is shining . Between HOBO's and Will Prose's reviews, I'm sold. This method beats the other, more expensive, set up I was considering. Let's hope I made the right choice.
Should’ve went lipo4.
Do you receive it yet? Damn you went with the total opposite of what I’m contemplating (different strokes for different folks), I’m more concerned with stored power than continuous wattage. I’m a total “Run extension cords and chill in one room” guy lol, I’m thinking of going with 1 AC300 and 4 B300s
@@joebuck4496 I'm with you Joe.
While the latest Bluettis offering 240V inverters give me some buyer's remorse, Bluetti has been quick and helpful with refunding the difference when better deal showed up shortly after I bought an AC300/B300 system, and just this week gave me solid support troubleshooting what looked to be a dead AC300, and got me back up and running. Thanks for giving a solid review to help with the decision!
My father was an engineer . He worked on solar panel projects in the fifty's and sixty's . He said it was promising then and we kept on until it was lost in Chinese trade agreements .
He when charging used two lines , a twenty amp with fifteen amp kicker line switched in together and after twenty seconds listening for all the relays kick up turn the fifteen amp supply off running on just the twenty amp line . Kind of like you cheating the inverter .
The digital controls circuits are much cleaner in operation . Untold savings over the years of use and improvements . Thanks for keeping us up to speed Dad .
Professor, you always have me smiling through your entire videos, this one especially! 😃 I'm sitting here like the cat who ate the canary's, watching your AC300 review and anticipating the delivery of my pair of AC300's & stack of B300's 🎉
One knows your reviewing a good product when the "Starship Enterprise" doesn't get blown up! 💥
Bluetti has been so good to work with they've allowed me to transfer my backing for the pair of EP500Pro's I had earlier ordered to a nice bundle of these units here. What a Godsend that was, being modular really is a game changer 👍 So I'm in! Also I recently sent a couple of my friends your way to help them with their Bluetti questions and interest I'm sure they will find you as interesting and entertaining as I do. As always "You know what to DO!" 🐈Go clean the litter box🐈
Oh, by the way the new studio looks great! 🍺😎👍 Now you need a "Green-Screen" doesn't that make the gears start turning a bit? Cheers!
It’s always been a good idea to sit back and watch new type products develop and prove themselves aswell. Then if your more patient the price usually drops.
This is better to sit on the sidelines and wait & watch compared to the EB500. 80 lb pieces are much better than an all inclusive 170 lb unit.
I have 2 AC300, 4 B300, & 6 PV200 panels. It was a package deal. Been running it as a mobile power bank as I haven't wired up a sub-panel just yet.
While each panel is rated at 200W, times 6 = 1200W, the actual output peak is 1010W, with 70% of the day near 980W. The wireless app is a nice touch. I've discovered that the batteries have to be wired together exactly as the owner manual shows in the illustrations. Can confirm it doesn't work otherwise. I found it necessary to label each port & each cable end so I can easily attach everything quickly. Without that it's a real frustrating puzzle. Such are the issues when using this as a mobile power bank.
One run of my dishwasher, a 2 hour cycle @ 1050W, uses 40% of 1 battery. Running my window AC for 2 hours also gobbles 40% of 1 battery. I can easily see the need for more solar panels. While the ads for this package say the batteries will recharge in 4-5 hours using only solar, that simply isn't true. 5 hours, from 12pm -5pm, added only 30% to the batteries in mid-July. Today I'm trying 10am-5pm to see what I get, but I expect a max of 50% for all day. I have trees all around my house & 10-5 is the zone of sunlight in my yard.
The long-term plan is to roof mount. However... adding tracking mounts is looking very interesting.
WOW.... GREAT and DETIALED review!!! Makes me wanna put this on my "wish list"!!!
That's awesome I been looking for something that I could hook up to house 😊. Thanks for your hard work you always do for us great job
This video made me feel 20 years younger... back when I would be looking at guitar amp stacks... time sure does funny things with a man's priorities.
Haha! Exactly, right?!? Never would've thought a battery was the "raddest thing I've ever seen!".
Professor, you always do an outstanding job with demos and product capabilities. I am planning on getting this AC300 soon, hopes the price drops again 🙂
The price is going to increase soon.
I really enjoy when the professor shows his inner nerd. Please show more star trek clips etc.
I just watched this review. I like this. Maybe I'll see a 2nd review hoping the company acts on making the changes you pointed out.
A very beautiful piece of machinery. The two modules are way too much for this old fart, but the battery does have good possibilities. (I am a semi DIYer without the electrical knowledge. lol) Will Prowse will be proud of your new studio!!!!!!
That setup is amazing, of course expensive but that charge time though.
Thanks Tom--worth the wait! The room looks great too.
That thing is a beast! I honestly believe that solar power is going to be more necessary in future with the number of power cuts we get now. I lost power for nine hours during Hurricane Ian and 90 minutes just this morning. I just purchased a Jackery 1000 on Prime since it was a great deal, but it’s a minnow compared to the Bluetti AC300.
How great. Thanks Professor another blistering review.
882Wh in that small bundle? I am very impressed. Looks pretty light also.
As to the 24v outlet on the base unit with all the ways this can be configured it would seem possible to include a limit of 12v maybe as the standard. Then if they person needs it to be a 24v outlet they could go into settings and change it. That protects everyone.
I had to go back 2 years to find a real hobo video. I know the Proffesor doesnt care, but I surely miss your camping videos. The clinky times and all.
If more folks watched them I'd do more. I'm camping right now but if I posted a video of that it would get maybe 2000 views. Why waste the time? I will do clinky live streams from our camp in January.
Great vid! Close to heading out for the nomad life myself - you're videos & recommendations made it easy to get the right equipment for my needs (EB70 bundle and the Set Power RV45D). Great channel you have (yoda impersonation)! Thanks and see you next time. Is there a small portable electric heater you could recommend for an area the size of a Pick-up bed?
I don't review heaters but I might have the ones I use on my Amazon page hobotech.tv/amazon
I’ve just ordered two of these for two phase connection to my home backup system….👍🏽 prefer solar over my gas generator….
That’s awesome. Did you get it yet?
Thanks for testing the audio equipment!!!

@@HOBOTECH no no no..... we love the intro! Definitely keep it. 👍
Hi, Tom! Do you have any testing updates regarding the battery capacity of the B300? Have you determined the cause of your initial disappointing measurement? Was it caused by a faulty battery you were using, the firmware update, the use of one battery versus using two or more, or some other component or operational factor? I, like many, are eager to hear of your findings. Thank you so much for all the testing you perform on solar and other products, and for sharing your knowledge, insights, and experiences so that we all can make wise purchasing decisions and best use of the products bought!
Hi, Professor! I'm just following-up on my recent post above... Do you have any testing updates regarding the battery capacity of the B300? Thank you for all that you do! Have a great weekend!
Thank you for this review. We had purchased a solar kit from Amazon but by living in Pa it is hard to have it installed due to the politics involved. But it seems that this will help cover that gap. Again thank you
Hobo man needs a bigger solar degenerator never thought I'd see the day 🤔😱😁😁👍🇺🇸
Yeah I'm going to have to double fist them soon.
He needs a solar terminator!
As of this morning you can still order the AC 200 max and B2 30 bundle, still in stock!
Another great review. Thank you Sir.
Also nice new room.
First, you are by far the best reviewer out there. Your reviews are the most informative, in-depth and entertaining. I want to plug the AC300 into AC and plug my fridge and freezer in to the AC300. Will the UPS stay turned on and switch to battery power after an outage? I had the Qukitel P2001 and after 7 days it turned off the AC function and I almost lost everything. I returned it. Am wondering if I can use the AC300 to ensure that when we are away for a while the AC ports will stay on. Also, can I use Solar to reduce my electric bill? If you have a moment, I would really appreciate it and think many others are wondering the same.
Just received my AC300 earlier in the week. Finally. Been testing it out and runs great so far. My lady think it’s overkill and says now I have living room looking like some kind of electrical control center/tower. Haha.
How do you like it after 2 months?
Meh people used to have "stack" hi-fi systems of similar size.
Tom, how about a Kill-a-watt test to see what keeping an AC300 plugged in at 100% for 24hrs takes?
These items are so massive and powerful I think professional installation and support now necessary.
Thx Hobo, I got one and am very happy with it. I use it as a UPS for my fish tank
Great vid Mr. HT! It looks like this thing just lacks one thing on the wish list - being able to use a Tesla charger.
Seeing that Tesla is proprietary that won't happen. Bluetti does have an EV charger adapter on the way.
@@HOBOTECH I think that's what i meant in my own inarticulate way. so, able to use EV charging stations? wow. do you think it would be OK to have these on their side stacked on top of one another to keep the 'footprint' down? Thanks, Hobotech!
I just bought this thanks to your review. Now I just have to find some suitable rigid solar panels that will work with it.
Thanks so much for these detailed reviews!
I'm not very educated about batteries or power station but I do absolutely love the idea of it. My problem is seeing a battery that says its almost 3100 wh but only pulls 2200.... its not even close..... I feel all companies should just list the actual usable watt hours call it a 2200wh battery not a 3100wh battery
It depends on the load - I guess such a large inverter has the best efficiency at 50% load - meaning at 1500w continuous. If you pull DC you should get better numbers. But you are right 70% efficiency is not good enough
They are required to list what the actual battery size is. If you rip it open you will in fact find 3072wh of batteries. The output is load dependent. If I run a 3000w load I will get >85% but most folks run ~1000-1500w loads so that's where I do my testing.
@@HOBOTECH so the smaller the load the less watt hours you can get? Thanks so much for the reply im trying to understand this battery stuff because I'm a huge fan of this over gas
Inverters have a sweet spot that is usually around 50% capacity but it varies quite a bit.
I'm fasinated by those USP options. I'll be fowarding this to my boss as he needs a powerstation and he can benefit from some of the options this provides.
P.S. I'm not sure local hardware stores sell this, but you can buy 30amp twist lock connectors. They're NEMA L14-30.
I know about these connectors because for some reason equipment we've received from China use connectors where the hot side has male exposed prongs. I always convert these over for safety
Thanks for your insightful contributions!!
I like your new room Thomas .....guess I got to save up for this new ac300 monster
The price is great, the size is almost unmanageable. Are these waterproof? Is the idea you pull these out of your truck drag to your camper and plug in? Oh and your review was excellent.
Check out the size of a Victron 48 volt 3000 watt inverter charger, plus 12 volt 30 amp dc step-down converter, Plus a couple of 150/15 MPPT charge controllers and it will seem a lot smaller. Plus the B300 is like two and a half Battleborn batteries worth of capacity.
@@eljeffe991 you are probably right just I don't need half that stuff. I have a 200ah lithium battery with a bms and that last almost 2 weeks without a charge. It's a lot smaller
No these are not waterproof ...
@@HOBOTECH thanks so when you plug a camper into the 30 amp outlet these must be in the camper some place or in your car. I don't see how these would work for a camper.
@@davidparker7156 I will be wiring this directly into my RV's 30 amp AC breaker panel and 30 Amp DC fuse box. the 30 amp shore power for the RV will go into the AC300's AC 30 amp input. Three connections and you're done with a full inverter/charger/battery solution with auto swapping from shore power to inverter. Plus it's easy to pull out in an emergency for home power backup. I'll also use one MPPT charge controller for my RV rooftop solar and the second one for the ground deployable panels. You couldn't ask for an easier drop in solution.
Tonight (hopefully) I’m going with the ac200max plus b230 package as opposed to this package for
Great review thanks ill be buying this in Canada soon
Most excellent review... Much appreciated...Thanks

I hope this comment gets pinned!
Finally something that can actually compete with the Titan Generator
Great point I was close to finally buying a titan but may reconsider !
This runs circles around the Titan. Not even in the same universe.
@@HOBOTECH Love your vids, but " Runs circles around the Titan"? I don't see it, but I am in the market, so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.....do a comparison video and show us why this unit is superior and Runs Circles around it.
To me, the two generators seem very similar in design and in features and benefits all the way down to the Input and Output jacks, modular system etc.
But here are just two important data points for me.....
The Power input for Solar is only 400 Watts greater on the Bluetti. It is 2000W on the Titan, 2400 W on the Bluetti. Both are OK. I'd like to see much higher if at all possible, but 400 extra watts helps if you have an array with a potential of 3500 W at peak sunlight
BUT.....another data point.....The Titan is rated at 3000 W output but has a PEAK output of 6000W whereas the Bluetti shuts down in your own video at slightly above 3000W. So I see a slight advantage on the Titan, for example when something pulls a bunch of Amps on startup...a compressor, whatever.
AC chargers are important, but in a long time grid down situation, gas may be Unavailable (look at Texas last winter and more recently, Louisiana with IDA) and so will be the AC power availability in the home. This is why Solar Input and battery capacity to me are the TWO most important features.
I Really like what I see on this Bluetti unit but I need more info to justify a CLEAR ADVANTAGE.
The Titan is so out of date it's not even funny. It's also way more expensive, and on a 6 month waiting list. They've had QC issues and delivery problems. As for specs, the Bluetti can be paired for 6000w inverter 12000w surge and 240v where the Titan can't. Titan uses NMC, Bluetti LFP. Paired supports 4800w solar and can charge 3000w vs 1450w of Titan! Bluetti >24kwh .. not sure what the battery limit is on the Titan but it would be so ungodly expensive and impossible to get their batteries so who cares. Titan had its day 3 years ago but today is a dinosaur.
@@HOBOTECH Excellent information. Exactly what several of us on the fence needed. Thank you.
This really helps!! Yes they have a waiting list and now I don't know why. BTW, the battery limit on the Titan is actually 8 batteries, but I seriously doubt anyone would buy that many. Yes, the Titan is expensive, but then, what other options have there been over the last three years with these types of performance specs? Nothing came close to output or Solar input. Most solar generators were in hundreds of watts versus thousands. Fine if you want to charge your cell phone and a couple of LED lights, but worthless if you want to keep your refrigerator and freezer running as well as running a few other creature comforts
Yes, please do the 30 hour load test.
Nice! Real nice! With a system like this I can not understand why this unit is not set up to start and stop a remote control generator. Ecoflow tried to address this issue, however using a propritory generator was, I think, a mistake. Ecoflow is now putting out a generator that is a camping size unit to charge a house size power system and they had to become a generator manufacturing concern to do it. There is a vast array of remote start generators already on the market. So stop trying to reinvent the wheel with in house generators like Ecoflow Delta is attempting to do. Bluetti, please just add a remote generator start and stop capability to your line of solar generators. Everyone has their own preference of generators, one size does not fit all like Ecoflow believes. I want the Bluetti to start my 4250 watt generator, my neighbor uses a 6500 watt generator. Don't try to reinvent the generator, just start it for me when the batteries need recharged and the sun isn't shining.
For me to enjoy the quick charging capability of the AC300, I will have to buy the 30 amp cables? Why can't they just give it as standard?
Why should they raise the price of their offerings to supply a cable few will actually use? Most don't have access to a 30A twist lock but standard 20A which is what they supply. You can opt to build your own 30A cable if you want.
The funny thing is that delta pro was actually the first to support 3000W charging (3400W actually using EV charging), so Bluetti really isn’t first with this. Nice to see them catching up though? Competition in the space is good. 80lbs is almost as heavy as the delta pro too. Maybe they can send me one to compare??? :) I promise I’ll be kind.
BTW delta pro does have connection via Bluetooth.
Don't forget you don't need to purchase an extra hand cart to move the Delta Pro unlike the Bluetti. None the less its still a good setup. This is more of a move it to sit in one place. I can't wait for my Delta Pro though, so much versatility.
I saw no option on the Delta Pro to charge at 3000w from just AC wall outlet with their built in charger. That charging cable only supports 15A max. Yes, it supports it from other sources like EV but that's not what I said. Also, I saw no way to use the APP without signing up and using my Internet to access it.
@@HOBOTECH - They updated the AC charging & solar or bumped it up a couple weeks back. For the kickstarter individuals etc. As well as if we had reached 11 million in funding everyone who backed it got 10 year warranty. Bluetti is no way near that warranty.
Lol! Love the side profile pic idea. That thing is a beast! It would be perfect for an off-grid tiny home or a skoolie, for sure--not to mention a great backup system for a sticks-and-bricks when the grid power goes down. It would be nice if they more clearly marked those two auxiliary outputs, though. What can you even run on the 24v plug? Just charging of a house battery?
There are some DC appliances that use 24v (trolling motors, doorbells, power supplies, hobby stuff) but it seems like a strange offering for the US market. Maybe it is more standard in other countries.
@@HOBOTECH Thanks, Tom. That does seem like a strange offering to US customers.
All hail the new King, his Royal MPPT Majesty - BLUETTI AC300 The 1st !
I am quite puzzled that Bluetti can only give out a two year warranty? I know a competitor who gives 10 years warranty. Whats up with that?
You mean the one time Kickstarter stretch goal offer from EcoFlow? You're comparing apples to oranges. We're talking retail warranty everyone gets. Bluetti has offered 5 year warranties on crowd funds for hitting stretch goals. Point is when this video came out (today) the EcoFlow warranty is 24 months just like everyone else including Jackery.
Sweet now to make lighter and last longer on charge.
Lovely and so great generator, thanks
I'm completely off grid. Have 2 EB 2400wh with less than one year. I'm waiting to buy a bigger unit to run washer, water pumps, etc. A major one time investment. So will wait for all the bugs worked out, as one of my EB 2400wh has problems.
Well this would be it. Bluetti is not known for high battery efficiency so I wouldn't expect to exceed 80% on this unit after they update the firmware.
Is it true that the faster you charge the battery the quicker it will reduce the capacity and lifespan due to heat damage? If that's the case I see fast charging as a negative, when most people won't truly need that ability. Better to have and not need of course, but finding the minimum charging input for your needs seems prudent if you want to maximise the life of the product.
I agree, if you have AC then why use this? Do you take it to the grid or wait for the sun? What we need is a unit using gas or propane running as efficient and quiet as possible to charge this up while we use this unit to take the power and utilize it. Some countries do not have reliable power so I get that. Living off grid not so much.
Since you can charge the B300 independently with solar, does that mean it has it's own MPPT charger? Or is the DC optimizer the MPPT charger?
I don't believe it uses MPPT in the battery more of a PWM as the limit is a low 200w. However, with the DC Enhancer which does have MPPT you can pump in 500w of solar.
Hey Prof. Hobo! Excellent! You have thoroughly reviewed the Bluetti AC300 + B300 solar power generator. In my opinion, Bluetti must also supply larger battery modules including the B500(5000Wh), which gives portability and longer runtime when needed for work or RV trips/travel.
I have a camp and i was looking at the bluetti ep500 and now you show the bluetti Ac300 , what one is the best bang for my buck , Thanks
Depends on your needs. EP500 is more for stationary use.
Yes, Prof Hobo, more videos on the Bluetti AC300 and all its' sexy beastly accessories Please!!!!!
It would be intersting if you had an SDR receiver with spectrum display to show if there is any interference across the frequency spectrum.
Just ordered the AC 300 w 3 B300s and 3 solar panels. Can't wait to get them. is there an extension cord for the solar panel connection?
My apologies, Tom, for my previous post here, regarding the Hobo code failed for me when I checked out buying the AC300+B300 combo, earlier this evening. User error, I forgot the HOBO in front of the AC3001B code. Once again, apologies for my earlier post.
Thank you for your time (late night again), in your review and posting the video.
Per chance, have you heard from Bluetti that it is okay to stack these components? The manual states that both of the devices, AC300 and B300, should not be stacked during use or storage.
Get your rest! You deserve it! Thanks again!
Well I hope you were able to get your combo. They are still in stock as of right now.
It is not only fine to stack them but they are notched in such a way as to show they are supposed to be stacked. In fact, I'm sure I saw marketing photos showing them stacked in pairs. I wouldn't go beyond two batteries for sure.
Thanks for your insight. Yes, I was able to get the AC300+B300 combo.
Info on when it goes on sale is listed in the video @ 30:12; IT'S NOT SOLD OUT, yet. Edit; Tom makes the mistake of saying 7AM vs 7 PM PST as the on sale time.
Almost bricked when he said 7 am
Yes last sale was 7am. Mental fog staying up 30 hours to get this done on time.
What's up with the size of the AC charging brick????
It's 500w ... and optional for this unit if you wish to charge the batteries separate.
Awesome. Great design.
Nice review, thanks!
I really like your thorough reviews, but I do wish the video resolution was bit higher or the camera closer when showing the capacity test and other on screen functions. It shows 1080p on YT but the video resolution appears to be 720p sometimes. 4K resolution would be awesome, but I understand that adds more editing and export time. Keep up the good videos though!
Might be your view settings as everything is crystal clear to me using an iPad.
The issue is the autofocus. I'm going to try to remember to go to manual focus when I zoom on the screens. It only gets fuzzy when I put my hand in the shot and the focus goes on my hand. I'm still getting used to the quirks of this new setup!
@@HOBOTECH good to hear! Anything with a screen requires more fine tuning to get the best video focus. I look forward to getting my Delta Pro hopefully by the end of the year if there are no shipping delays!
How can this be practical in a camping scenario? The weight alone of this two combined is a massive 128lbs. Does it come with a free trolley?
You can get the trolley separate (not available yet) but if this is too heavy for you just get the AC200Max I reviewed a few weeks ago.
If you just leave it in a trailer camper or similar, sure. It's a lot of power for camping though, the AC200 makes more sense. This would be better for Van life or a smaller emergency back up for house.
Depending on the size, weight, and capabilities you need I find the Bluetti AC50 and EcoFlow Delta to be very versatile. The Bluetti EB70 has my eye as well but I don't need a third power station.
Nothings free, it's accessery!
@@truckdriverdan9176 It's not meant for camping. Bluetti now has a large variety of power stations for different applications. You have to pick the one that meets your needs. For instance, if you're using a lot of DC, don't get one of the 200 series, they are optimized for AC. One of the EB models is better for DC appliances. And so on. The AC300 is best for stationary applications, not for mobile use, IMO.
Can you do a video on just how to power your home during a blackout Texas style? Real novice here who needs plain speak explanations. You did say a few things I could understand, but not enough to understand if I could configure this for power failures at home. Hvac , fridge, lights tv phone charging. Help a novice understand please.
Professor Hobo, long time viewer and first time commenter. Your camera was hunting focus a bit too much. You should stop the lens down to maintain a deeper depth of field so the unit’s menu screen and your hand/face are both in focus.
It was at F8. It's not "hunting" it is trying to focus on my hands. I'm going to try manual focus for those shots in the future.
Australia isn't even getting the AC200 max until next year, so this will be out in 2030 here 😝
Having the 12V plug on the battery just makes it all the more confusing.
Very nice,
Now Bule needs to make a gas genarater, that works like Echoflows(sp?), but without the cell phone interface.
Larger gas tank, quiet, auto on\off, and don't do the order now bit. (Get them out at a reasonable price)
Is it safe to say that bluletti is the best out there? Have you tried and usa made products that you liked? Love this channel
Something I dont think I have ever heard you mention is about how shock resistant these products are. My fiancé and I use Jackery 500 explorer and we go off road to our favorite spot near our home. I was curious as to more info on that whether it harms the units to bounce around down logging roads or not?
I would set this unit on an anti vibration mat if you were going on rough roads. Same with just about any 12v fridge.
cheers!
The molded polyurethane foam in the box it comes in could be repurposed as a shock absorbing base. If it can survive UPS, it can survive anything!
Why couldn't Bluetti design something compact that combines the two units. I would be lugging around two heavy boxes.
You mean the AC200Max?
you can easily fit the entire system in a backpack. It’s rather small.
Nice! Reminds me of a mini mesa boogie stack!
If rolling blackouts or brownouts become a thing in my area, this is what would be perfect to help weather those.
HOBOROCKS! 😂
Although very worth it. My bank account is unfortunately not deep enough for these nice Solar Generators😭
Hello--question about a cart. I think you mentioned that Bluetti had offered a cart on the 200 (?during crowd funding stage). Do you know the specs on this? If I buy a cart do I have to be concerned about metal platform vs rubber ? Is a regular metal one OK or would a baggage one with more rubber matter? Any grounding issues I need to be aware of?
Hi there guru, great content, I am in 240V down under land. I RV setup wonder is DC output up to running RV fridges, fans, what happens when DC 12 load exceeded, Thanks and all the best in 2023.
That 72% inverter efficiency at 800 watts though. Yikes
Pretty poor efficiency for "smart" batteries. I was expecting around 85% efficiency at the least. Cancelling my pre-order.
Agreed. It’s totally awful. These reviews now look like paid advertising for the product because they missed the most important part and gloss over it like it’s no big deal. You’re wasting a whopping 860Wh per battery. That’s over a 1/4 of the capacity just completely wasted. I was in the market for a solar generator system for my home but I may wait for ecoflow delta pro in retail.
We appreciate u pulling in all-nighters. Thank U, Thank U, Thank U! So that means 9 pm Central time. Ok.
Prof. you forgot:
2-Ac300 + 2-B300 + Fusion Box Pro + PV200 + DC Charging Enhancer all together.
The cart wud be a nice bonus.
We can't do codes for every combo. You can do two purchases with two different codes to get the Charging Enhancer separate.
Great video. Thank you. How could this be EMP hardened?
Install them in a room with sheet metal on the walls, ceiling, & floor & a ground wire to the sheet metal. There is hardware cloth/ expanded metal you might consider, but there may be some pulses that get through the gaps.
Hi Tom. Allways great. But I miss you getting out on the road once in a while. Since I'm a Roadtreker, especially in your Roadtrek. And I miss seeing Oden walking through from time to time. I was hoping you might come up with more RV mods? AL
I poured over $20k into that van in 4 years so I'm no longer modding. Might actually sell it. I went on many trips this year but this hasn't been a vlog channel over 2 years now.
