Can the leader alter the lead to perform a sugar tuck where the follower turns in the opposite direction? Trying to think if it is possible when considering the beginner step for both roles to initiate a pattern. Perhaps the leader could somehow communicate triples to start so the 6 count pattern is exclusively in triple steps but both would always end the pattern on the wrong foot.

I am sure that you can lead an inside turn from a sugar tuck vs an outside turn. I have not tried it, and it may be a bit difficult for the follower but new wcs moves are created all the time by trying new things.
I am not sure what you mean by having triple through the whole pattern.
