In my experience, just like with A LOT of things, its different strokes for different folks on the laying method. I've seen them pull it down and tap/pat it down. Flawless om the end. I say work out what works for you...

Im not a nail tech and the only mistake ive made is not enough liquid and ive learned you can quickly grab liquid to fix a bead fast before just having a lump of dust. Works for me.
I am sometimes guilty of the 3rd one where I don't get enough monomer but that would only be because I ran out of the monomer or i didn't have enough on my brush. I don't do it as often now . so don't give up ❤️

Make your life easier and use slip solution too also let it sit on the brush for a few minutes before you apply it to the nail so it can dry just alittle bit enough for it to work on the mail n stick to it with little to no mistakes. Any problem can be fixed so it’s very important for you to buy an affordable nail drill to drill off any lumps if you have any. There shouldn’t be any lumps but if there are so not panic just drill n shape the nail to it’s perfect form or the form you wish for it to be in or on xoxo best to you all
I have had a free week , and I’ve spent every day this week for 4/5/6 hours a practising nail tips and acrylic/ gel nails. I’ve definitely made progress, but I still have a way to go 😂🤪 I wonder how long till I can get a real model haha😂

The wipe/tap depends on the person and the acrylic. I've used acrylic that you HAD to pull down the tapping didn't do anything
