Also have you considered scanning your wings and printing them on decal paper? You can use them over and over and they would be so much easier to handle.

What kind of nail liquid you used?
I buy a lot and the smell very strong.

I use NSI Attraction, it has a strong smell like other acrylic liquids. You can try odorless acrylic to eliminate the smell
