Young Hawks is so damn wholesome it hurts 😭 It's just interesting how we actually have characters who looked up to someone who saved them long ago, but their hero isn't what they appear. Btw Stain made a poi-- **shot**
You know the thing I just realized is that Touya has become a monster just like his father but in different ways. I really hope someone helps Dabi realize that as well as realize many other things. Dabi is stuck in the past not forgetting what happened to him and feeling hatred for the ones who hurt him. And it would be hard to forget or forgive with the scars that he got from all of it but at some point he just needs to realize.
I believe Hawks's purpose would be helping Endevour through helping Shoto when facing Dabi. Because like Eri's/Deku's destiny are opposite but paralleling at the same time with Shigaraki's, so are Hawks's and the Todoroki siblings and Dabi specifically. They all have an abusive parent and "used" from the abusive one parent. And they all've been through hell in some way or another. But the difference between Dabi and Hawks and the others is, only Dabi let the past and his fathers actions control him even after years. Dabi sold his soul to the revenge and hatred, where Hawks and Shoto accepted it and didn't let it change them and their resolve to be true herous. And I think that would help Dabi realize many things. ( that he turned more evil than what made him evil) And lastly, I just want to add that even though Endevour's actions towards the kids were wrong and horrible (they don't own him forgiveness too), he actually cares about them, even in his screwed up ways, he never regretted having them, nor he hates his wife or something like that, he also never abandoned them in its true way. But all of this was done by Hawks's dad, so please keep that in mind. ( Disclaimer:I don't support Endevour's wrong doings, but these are some truths that we have to acknowledge about him and the whole situation) P. P. :Love this channel, keep up with the good work!
True they're all coming from an abusive household but what makes it more powerful story is in Dabis case is it came from a heroes household and that made him a villain, too. I like the idea that Hawks coming from a villain family and Dabi from a heroes family. I see Shoto somehow between them bc he had the same anger and hate just like Dabi (what he said in chapter 298) but turned around bc of his friends. The three of them making a tragic dynamic.
Um correct me if I'm wrong but didn't endeavor literally refer to Shoto's two older brothers as "Things"?he also isolated Shoto from his siblings, Physically abused him when he was Five,to the point of where he was vomiting, Smacked his wife possibly multiple times, was the cause of her breakdown, Basically used his power and influence as the Num 2 hero to buy Rei into this marriage, and is basically the Cause of Touya becoming Dabi. I'm not supporting or excusing Dabi's actions,I can like a character without liking their actions. I honestly think Endeavor and Rei Should get a divorce Never, and I mean,Never Stay with someone who's hurt you and your children.
@@hyena234thekids7 Yes, absolutely. I don't remember about him calling them "Things", but I wouldn't be surprised, if it happened. Nothing excuses his actions, nor Dabi's crimes. I just wanted to point some other things out, in comparison to Hawks's situation. But yeah, Endevour was never a truly good person, so he got, what he deserved, like Dabi said. 🤷

Or that Endeavour is a better father than most were lead to believe. He may have pushed Shoto in training, but he undoubtedly wouldn't have gone beyond what he knew Shoto's body could handle, especially after Touya. However, Shigi and Hawks have had a father's who are far worse.

I see many comments saying how similar Hawks and Shoto are but none that point out the biggest difference between them- Shoto was wanted, as were his siblings. His quirk was treasured and he was always told that with it he could overcome every limite. He was abused yet provided for and Enji, even at his worst, never regretted having any of his children- especially not Shoto. Hawks was put in a situation where he had to sustain his mother. She and his father saw no worth in neither his existence nor his quirk (which is likely how Touya took Enji abandoning him in favour of Shoto: the why do I exist question he kept asking Natsuo) Their socioeconomic backgrounds were polar opposites, too. They aren't alike imo. They are parallels and serve to show that abuse can come in more than one form, no matter who you are or what's you lot in life.
Chapter 300, it HAS to be awesome! (I mean that as an inevitability not like a demand, sorry just being careful cause you know how people online can be sorry)
I posted this comment on another channel but I'll do it again here. Lol I know there are a lot of people who hate Hawks and hope either Toga or Dabi kill him (which is just.....really guys?) but I still don't hate him. Far from it actually. I'd like to point out how stupid it is for people to simp for Dabi because he's "Hot" (imo he isn't) and because of his tragic backstory. And yet, someone like Hawks, who I feel had it worse than Dabi, worked so hard to become the great hero he is only to be met with hate because.....he killed your favorite villian......really? I mean, first of all, he didn't even WANT to do it, he was basically forced to. Secondly, thanks to Hawks, whatever sort of destruction that was caused by the Villians was drastically reduced BECAUSE he killed Twice. Had he not done so, let's just say I don't even think Japan would've survived the destruction. That's why I don't understand the hate. So it was alright for all the other pro heroes to go forth and kill Shigaraki to keep him from destroying everything but it's a sin for Hawks to have Killed Twice even though Twice would've been a catalyst for Shigaraki? I loved Twice as much as the average fan, but people really aren't seeing the bigger picture and Hawks deserves so much more credit than that.
I completely agree. Of course, twice's death was a sad moment keeping in mind that he really thought of Hawks as a friend. That being said, hating Hawks seems pretty irrational. If it wasn't for his involvement with the league, Hero society would've been practically ERASED. It sucks that Twice got manipulated and taken advantage of, but it really was the most efficient way to go about gathering information.
There r so many parallels between shoto and hawks, its crazy!!!..both grew up in an abusive environment...both went through some harsh training at a young age...also both have connections to dabi..both were severely burned by his blue flames..lost their voices...and have made bold decisions in their respective chapters!! Also,if hawks does have his wings and if he continues to be a hero after this (probably)I wouldn't be suprised if I see shoto(after all this is done) and tokoyami working under hawks!!!
It’s nice to see a status update on hawks and all but it also begs the question... if hawks had no connection to endeavor aside from the doll, then how does Dabi know about not only hawk’s real name which keep in mind he ABANDONED but how does Dabi know about his mother too? Unless Dabi was another product of the same program all the lines lead back to nonexistence

I feel like Hawks wings started to grow back. During the chapter his back looked super flat, but the way the last panel was written, he’s back started to have some definition.
Young Hawks is so damn wholesome it hurts 😭
It's just interesting how we actually have characters who looked up to someone who saved them long ago, but their hero isn't what they appear.
Btw Stain made a poi-- **shot**
Ok this is about t get seriously sad when it's hawks past 😭😭
I literally Stan best jeanist for saying “That’s rough buddy”
Hawks is my favorite pro hero I hope his quirk well come back and his backstory is so mess up
Same here.. it's depressing that he got stuck in a close combat struggle with dabi we knew that wasn't going to go well.
Hawks deserves the world I just want to give him a hug and never let go
Best Jeanist: "That's rough buddy"
Zuko: "Thats rough buddy"

Stop it todoroki
The fact Hawks became a hero despite his horrible past makes me love and respect him even more
You know the thing I just realized is that Touya has become a monster just like his father but in different ways. I really hope someone helps Dabi realize that as well as realize many other things. Dabi is stuck in the past not forgetting what happened to him and feeling hatred for the ones who hurt him. And it would be hard to forget or forgive with the scars that he got from all of it but at some point he just needs to realize.
THAT'S WHAT I WANTED TO READ HERE
Tbh yes I want to seem him turn good but honestly I just don’t blame him trauma like that I don’t think many would react differently
@@enolaholmes3489 I agree

So Hawks going to help Endeavor not to get twitter cancelled too much.

( that he turned more evil than what made him evil)
And lastly, I just want to add that even though Endevour's actions towards the kids were wrong and horrible (they don't own him forgiveness too), he actually cares about them, even in his screwed up ways, he never regretted having them, nor he hates his wife or something like that, he also never abandoned them in its true way. But all of this was done by Hawks's dad, so please keep that in mind.
( Disclaimer:I don't support Endevour's wrong doings, but these are some truths that we have to acknowledge about him and the whole situation)
I did not have the time to read either of these comments
@@theoneandonlyidiot6922 okay.. 🤷
Um correct me if I'm wrong but didn't endeavor literally refer to Shoto's two older brothers as "Things"?he also isolated Shoto from his siblings, Physically abused him when he was Five,to the point of where he was vomiting, Smacked his wife possibly multiple times, was the cause of her breakdown,
Basically used his power and influence as the Num 2 hero to buy Rei into this marriage, and is basically the Cause of Touya becoming Dabi.
I'm not supporting or excusing Dabi's actions,I can like a character without liking their actions.
I honestly think Endeavor and Rei Should get a divorce
Never, and I mean,Never Stay with someone who's hurt you and your children.

I wanna know what happened to Kaminari since he got burned when gigantomachia was charging through the forest
@@bolognee8898 Burned?, I was thinking that Compres just throw some of his "bullets" at him and he was hit in his head.
Also, to be honest I don't really care about class B some of them who where with Momo and co. was doing good so I'm happy they are probably ok but I need to see what's with rest of "our" class.
When hawks said "theres no one to give me orders anymore", "no chains to shackle me down" I'm like "aw shit hawks about to do something that will probably make him powerful or something like that that the authorities wouldnt like"
That what I thought as well when I read it.
When he said that, I remembered angel from the xmen series, somewhere along the way he got upgraded with like metal wings so that they're more durable as weapons.....
@@kidaneechan Well "that" Angel was actually asshole and even villain at some point but I understand what you mean. Yet I don't know if Hawks can evolve his quirk in the same way also I don't think if he could use some "armor" cuz this could make flying harder due to increased weight.

It's sad how people that hate Endeavor and like Hawks don't know this like Endeavor saved Hawks and if he didn't save him he would be dead by now
Or that Endeavour is a better father than most were lead to believe. He may have pushed Shoto in training, but he undoubtedly wouldn't have gone beyond what he knew Shoto's body could handle, especially after Touya.
However, Shigi and Hawks have had a father's who are far worse.

Bro, the last panel focuses on Hawks' back where you can see the wing bumps. I think they're growing back.
I really cried for his past story because I have been attached to him so much and I love him soooo much but his parents are literally a 💩 and I wanna hug him soooo much I wanna tell him that he deserves everything that I love him more than anything else😭😭😭😭

Same here🙁🙁🙁
I know how hawks feels though...
@Azumi Aumi Simp
Hawks officially became my favorite pro hero after this chapter and it’s not even close now. Love you All Might
We can’t say Jeanist actually said “That’s rough buddy” until the official translation comes out
Kid Hawks is so cute 🥺💖
Does anyone else was expecting that Jeanist’s car would be a shaped like a pair of jeans👖? Maybe in the anime they could give his car denim texture

i have a feeling when Izuku wakes up and learns what happened to the heroes in the aftermath of the war he is going to be devastated

Incredible, intense, moving chapter and a solid review.
Note: A close look at a couple of panels show feathers along his father’s left sleeve.
Damn, Hawks escaped his abusive father to look up to an even worse abusive father.

Same😔
I posted this comment on another channel but I'll do it again here.
The famous Prince Zoku line!!!
Thats rough buddy😂
Keigo means
honorific, or term of respect in case you were wondering
But man, I wish he didn't end Twice :(
He had to ):
No he didn't he could have left him live
@@dabitouyatodoroki5453 no dude. Can you imagine how bad the situation would be if twice was still alive. Clones of all the strongest villains hitting all the major branches of hero society.
Hey plot armor i was thinking about the prison break and the fact that overhaul is out now i can either see this going 3 ways
1) overhaul reforms the 8 expendable bullets to take eri from u.a which would lead kirishima to fight kendo rappa again
2)overhaul joins allforone(very unlikely) and wages a new war
3) overhaul sees allforone with all the quirks he has and decides that he is the rat with the most infection and decides to try and remove his quirk
If you see this let me know your thoughts
I can't take this agony anymore😭😭
Ma baby hasn't woke up yet😐😭
I do have a theory though... What if dekus stuck in the One for All spirit world trying to learn more about it??? Or maybe he's developing a new quirk or something like that. I don't know, just a theory, but my gut tells me that his coma does have something to do with One For All. Maybe it was because he used his other quirk to much or something.
I think Hawks will be a great help for Endeavor getting back on his feet. Just make him part of the family. Hawks is an honorary Todoroki. So says I. haha
IDK why but I find it funny Hawks only had an Endeavor doll because it was cheap. I feel so hard for Hawks because of that.

@@thefirehawk1921 Wrong, I could care less for Twice and his death. His character follows the same principle, tragic backstory to garner sympathy from the audience and excuse all his evil deeds since people want to like him. He had to die, good riddance.
If you think about it, a large percentage of the cast have tragic backstories, as though that’s the only way Horikoshi can think to have the audience be emotionally attached to a character.
