I love google nest hub max! I had the google nest hub , the smaller one with no camera !! I was sad because I thought it had a built in camera. My nest hub max lasted for years , the regular nest broke fast.
I’ve had Amazons Alexa echo dots
Now I’m thinking of getting the echo show because the camera calls
Google nest are a lot easier to navigate than Alexa echos …
Google assistants are faster than Alexa’s
I’ve had both assistants
& now that I can’t get a deal on the hub max I’ll have to settle for echo show

I concur! Over the holidays I’ve got hooked with the Dot & smart bulbs. Then moved on to Echo 5, 8 & Google hub. I’m returning Echo 8 & getting a 2nd Google 2nd gen hub. Like the display & sound better & I don’t have to repeat commands as much. Although I will miss Prime movies & the camera.

Very detailed review thank you . I think I may go with the Google hub since it’s cheaper and they have it in pink lol ! Plus I don’t need all that extra stuff Alexa has. Google hub is more simple for me

I'll give one reason why the Echo wins. You can customize the command word. Blows my mind Google doesn't do that. If they are that close, I think this feature alone puts Echo on top.
I would recommend muting or skipping saying Alex or Ok google! Nice video overall
I had the google but got an offer from Amazon for a echo show 8 for $99 reduced from $249 so that was a bargain I couldn’t give up.
I bought both, but returned the google becouse it wouldn't connect to my eufy security system plus the amazon screen was bigger..... (google should not have any excuses not to connect to other devices)
I have both and I like them about the same.
I just want this product offering to come out from Apple as I don’t use google hardware or paid software ever in my life

Would you say the next hub is close enough sound to the echo as ive seen some people say echo show dominates on the sound as it's alot louder and better
Yes I agree the Echo is superior in how loud it can get and bass.
