It gives me immense pleasure to place one more edition of The Annual School Magazine “Dhara 2018-19” in your hands. We have come to our own campus, our own building at the Benakanhalli and feel established and stabilised.
These pages of the magazine, tells you the journey we have under taken. The students and staff are experiencing new energies and strengths to face the challenges ahead of us. Our past stands by us to make bold advances. The pages of the magazine from first to last represent the life we lived in the campus in the text and photo form. It tells the success stories of achievements of our students.
The celebrations of festivals, games children played, picnics we enjoyed, competitions children won tell one side of the story. The excellent academic results of tests and examinations and prizes won in the inter-school competitions tell the other side of story. The students got praise for winning prizes in sports, games and in academics. The presentation of events for the Annual Day this year and the variety introduced stands as a testimony to high level of trainability among the students.
This year we had some mile stone events. The shifting to the new campus, accommodating changes and adjusting to new environment with quick time was a challenge. Second one is the arrival of two eminent educationists Sri C B Suresh Hegde, Principal, Basaveshwara International Public School, Dist- Bagalkot and Sri Abhay Mathur, Principal, Sunshine Worldwide Secondary School, Goa for CBSE inspection.
With the coming year, strength of students and staff will grow. We will have day boarding facility in place for students and staff. We are introducing technology and innovation in classroom by partnering with EZ Vidya Pvt Ltd, Chennai to bring in an effective and impactful learning environment. The students of the four Houses, Shakti House (Red) , Yukti House (Blue), Shanti House (Green), Bhakti House(Yellow) will have many opportunities to participate and win prizes next year. There will be many celebrations, functions, inter-house curricular & co-curricular competitions, cultural events, sports & games, tournaments and athletics from Nursery to VIII standard.Happy Reading to you all
