You are good! Loved making models when I was young and doing detail, but your 'attention to detail' is worthy of top class! Really like your videos, thank you!
The undercarriage turned out superbly well. Liked the tactile rubbing off with a bare finger- some old school techniques really can't be bettered. I just could never get comfortable with hand condom model making. Good job fella!
Those rails that you mention sticking out in front of the engines are the EAPS rails. Engine Air Particle Separator filters. If you are making an 80's model these were not present. They were fitted for Op Granby in 1991. The EAPS filters replaced the conical air filters and were put in place to protect the engines from sand ingestion.shop.pall.com/us/en/aerospace/commercial-rotary-wing/engine-protection/zidgri78lb2
I guess it's time to finish watching this series 🤠. It looks good so far.
L shaped runners are for dust bin air filters. Lovely work and nice to see an RAF version for a change.
Im voting you the best modeller on youtube.

More scratch building goodness would you consider doing a merlin ,puma or lynx in any scale Greg, love my helicopters . Regards Gav.
Hi Gav, I'm going to keep it simple next and build a tank straight from the box 😁

Thanks Allan, I'm going off one good photo, might not be a true Mk1 anymore.
Unbelievable, Greg..........
And if the cockpit instrument panels are not fully functional, I'll be very disappointed.
Obviously..... ;-)
