Riley

We lost Riley, our beautiful golden retriever on 24 June 2024 - exactly 12 years to the day that we got him. He was our wonderful companion and friend. He touched so many lives with his pure heart and joyful ways. He will be dearly missed. He had a life full of adventures and fun and love. I was lucky enough to capture many of those adventures on video.

I'm so sorry...Goldens are like having a teenager in a way lol!? I miss my Luke so very much but he lived a great 12 years as well.

we have a 6yearold golden we raised from 8weeks! it is truly amazing and beautiful how no matter what they do you have formed such a deep-rooted relationship with them that you can truly be mad at them because they are your entire world, and they will always love you unconditionally! I hope our baby girl lives to be 12 or older because when it happens, I don't know how we will move on! that is something all of us golden owners understand! really sorry about your loss! my deepest condolences to you!

@@dwightdan My golden is almost 8, mentally trying to prepare for when the day comes, but I don’t think one can do that; it will just hurt for a while. Stay strong mate.

Thank you so much - goldens are the best aren’t they. So much fun so much love and so intelligent. Deeply woven into the fabric of every day life. We still have his dog bowls out and I still instinctively check he has enough water 😢 it’s been two weeks but we can’t bring ourselves to put them away. Thank you so much for your kind message. When I posted the video I never imagined it would get such a loving response from people. It is lovely to imagine Riley still giving out love through this video

I'm sorry for your loss💔 my golden is my best friend and has traveled the country with me. he's swam in the atlantic, pacific, and gulf. And the great lakes. Hes still on the younger side, but I dread that day. Thought and prayers with you.
